Have Chaos Control I but receiving "The Pax" very bad surge

[FR0GG3R]

Bug Report Number:

419376

I have Chaos Control I from the Wild Mage Enhancement tree.

This is meant to prevent the very bad bad surges but i am still receiving “The Pax” very bad surge.

I do not have Chaos Control II or Power in Chaos enhancements.

I've tried resetting the Wild Mage enhancement tree, as recommended in other posts, but "The Pax" keeps occurring.
No other very bad surges are experienced.

I have heard this reported before, with The Pax specifically. What level are you?
