HELP!! cannot dismiss hire !

Game is so broken......BOUGHT a gold seal rogue hire, used it for 2 TRAPS
... now cannot dismiss it.. so the timer ran out...
it is still in my group
I CANNOT form LFM
i CANNOT join any other group

i have logged out..and back in .....nope
i have exited the game...and back in.... nope
i have restarted the computer...relaunched the game... .nope
i logged out and into a character............... WORKED

NOTHING WORKS i still have the hire and cannot join any gorups.. just solo with i hire that has expired......... GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!


i logged out and into a different character and then back to main.............. WORKED

I will assume you tried to leave the group.

You need to find someone to help you.

Invite them to join your group.
Make them leader.
Ask them to kick you from the group.
After that they should be able to leave the group or log out and the hire should go away because its not their hire.

Failing that put in a ticket or the server reset will fix it Wed.

What server are you on, you might find someone helpful if we knew where to look.

Friend of ours has this problem a couple of weeks ago, I'm racking my brains remembering what it was that eventually fixed it.
They couldn't leave the party, inviting someone else then trying to leave the party didn't work. In fact, as I work thru what all we did n my head I'm thinking it took the server reboot to finally clear it.

Wouldn't it be funny if the person you have join your group and that you then make the leader, gets the same problem and cannot dismiss the hire? Also fun when the hire itself gets the star.

I'd tell you to lock your doors in real life after that, hireling could manifest and watch you sleep in the night.

I'd tell you that, but it would make me sound crazy, cause the hireling is a trapper and could pick the locks.

most hireling dismissal issues are from them not being right next to you in a quest. But your issue seems worse,

Whoops. Okay. I have not experienced this problem but it has come up in the forums before and as stated above, server reset was reported to fix it. Server reset will fix a bunch of wacky stuff. Not everything.
