I'm going to play the sympathy card here, with me just two weeks out of the hospital getting a brain tumor removed that was a result of my deployment in Iraq. Give a disabled vet that just literally lost part of his mind for his country and loves to lay this game a consideration.
I'm seeing all the duergar stuff coming out. I love it, I think I'm going to go with a duergar alchemist, taking a medium armor feat and wearing mithral plate armor, durable and high dps.
With the new expansion pack, would it be possible with the heroic gear set, could you make it upgradable from whatever level it to level 25. That would really help fill in some epic gear gaps, it would make the gear relevant to grind in heroic level. And if there was any possibility to throw in epic level solar/lunar gems? Hell, just skip the heroic level content, and replace it with level 25 content.
Just a wounded vet asking for a break to make my grinds a little smoother to problem solve. And since I just lost a part of my mind literally, that would be nice. :) AnThank you for hearing me out, and have a fabulous day!

Sadly there are technical problems for them to do an Epic/legendary quests and they haven't put the resources since they dont consider it a priority. I cannot say If I agree or not with them since I don't know what are they using develpers time nowdays..

And level 25 gear isn't a must anyway. Just get some other good Epic gear that isn't 25.

Until you reach cap right considering all the dps nerfs dc augment nerfs teleport nerfs and the broken burning ambition

Have they explained much about what the problems are with that? Like would they be able to get around that by making an expansion with lvl 20 quests but technically classified as heroic quests like the dreaming dark quests are with legendary versions at the cap, or have they already said something like that isn't possible? I ask because it'd be nice to have more quests that drop the epic tier of solar/lunar gems besides toil and trouble and also have an associated saga that gives a choice of the rare epic level gems. It would also be nice to have new quests for those tired of eveningstar and the borderlands too.

I suppose they would have to find a way to force a minimum level of 20 so heroic level characters can't enter a quest tuned in difficulty and xp rewards for characters that have epic destinies, but Brothers of the Forge has a non standard minimum level for an epic quest so who knows.

issue is that epic monster have a lot of different stats that heroic lack. They haven't talked about this but my guess is that the escaling system they have in place wouldn't work properly and they would have to do everything manually..

I realize that. I use wilderness areas to grind through to level 30. I do believe if there was more mid level epic content, more people would be playing that to get their epics and iconics. To be honest, I hate playing legendary on casual, or normal at level 23 to grind through supplementing with wilderness areas.
I agree with your point, just saying there may be more potential if it was available. But seriously, I love my initial idea, make it so we can just upgrade the heroic gear to level 25. That would be so sweet. They've done similar concept with other packs like Saltmarsh,and it's great.

I think what they did with Saltmarsh and some of the older sets would be great, but because I think so... that will probably never be a thing again. :giggle:

Being able to upgrade gear on a tier of heroic/epic/legendary was to me, the best thing ever!

Well for one SSG cares because Expansion packs with Heroic quests sell better than ones that only have Epic quests. Besides that adding Epic quests doesn't have to mean it can't be Heroic also.
