High level healing scrolls

Or alternatively let those scroll and wand enhancements also add +25% per rank to damage/healing so it's worth actually taking them

Meh kinda useless in any real difficulty.

Because of hp bloat, melees are seeing 5k+ hp and any scroll just won’t heal enough.

All scrolls ignore spellpower so no matter your build it’s gonna be 5-10x less healing than any spell. Same thing with caster level.

This won’t change even if they add some super crazy scroll like 500 base healing. It’d only be useful in elite and maybe r1. On any real difficulty you will not want to swap weapons and use a non-quickenable action. You’re gonna slow down and get hit.

Way better off just taking a heal from your epic destiny.

y, the game lacks buyable epic spell scrolls. As they are scrolls they always have a combat disadvantage over a real healer. I'd like a heal scroll that is made for outside of combat but i suppose this comflicts with that DDO shop buyable rest stone.

The concept is ok, the goal and method are not.

Scroll healing as a viable method at endgame is not what the game needs. It needs more interdependence on other classes not less.

Scrolls in general are an outdated barely functional game mechanic from PnP. It's depecrated content that was used to gatekeep rezzing and healing behind a paywall.

/signed, I am not a programmer but this seems like something easy to code and the names are hilarious. Of course it would not be useful for the top playing field but it might save you from a DoT while piling on other efforts.

I would include accessable inflict versions too.

While it’s up to the devs, of course, it’s unlikely a scroll will outperform a spell since it doesn’t get the benefit of spell power. My healer friends tend to use cure light and moderate.

And what’s wrong with R1? That’s where lots of people run for XP and even hard for raids. If someone is unconscious at -480 I’d much rather have a scroll for 500 than the current heal scroll to get them up. I’m playing ranged so I can throw a scroll on someone. I also have cocoon but it’s underpowered as well.

Healing for non-healer classes is already too plentiful. So a major no to making the game even easier from me

R1 is super easy if you have your monitor on and actually pay attention to the mobs. Not saying it's not fun. But r1 healing requirements are quite low. You can get away with literally any amount of healing, mobs will die super fast (and if they aren't then your issue isn't a lack of healing, it's a lack of damage or a total lack of defense).
And I am almost certain that if you just put a 156 positive sp augment in your gearset, that your cocoon will be vastly better than trying to scroll heal someone unconscious if you have quicken.

Scroll healing: stop attacking, swap weapons, target player, take 1-2 seconds to cast scroll, swap back weapons, resume attacking. Takes probably 5-6 seconds total including weapon swaps.
Cocoon: stop attacking, target player, cast cocoon, resume attacking. Takes 2 seconds.

Yep. It's the same issue with single-target Cure spells scaling for Paladin and Ranger. A decade ago, CSW could top off your HP with one cast. These days it would take five casts to top off a ranged, and even more for a melee. Paladin has LOH at least, but Ranger is the red-headed stepchild.
