Hires not leaving the party on hardcore

The hires isnt leaving the party on the hardcore server not sure if it is this way on other servers as i have been playing on hc since it started

It's an old bug -- and an annoying one. It's some sort of glitch that makes a hireling the party leader. It's not just hardcore.

But I have been seeing it a lot more frequently these days.

They want extra pay, bonus and free pass at the tavern. Give or they not going anywhere.

Does it happen when the person who summoned the hire, dies, and is sent to the land of lost souls?

This has been a problem for years on all servers. Nothing to do with hardcore.
