History/record of forum infractions/bans?

I was recently banned on the forums again (and it's ok!). I was given a message 'rules violation' and a date of when it would be lifted. Is there a way to find out which one of my posts was the rules violation or even better which sentence/comment/phrase/word etc violated the rules?

In the old forums you'd get a message "you are warned about this post" "you are banned because of this post" and there was record of infractions and you could go back later and see them. They would state "You are warned because of baiting" for example or for "You are warned because speaking bad of turbine employess" etc so you could avoid repeating the same rules violation.

I talk trash all the time so I need to know what is rules violation to work around it cough cough I meant avoid it. Also because I'm not American - I'm Hellenic - I don't follow let alone understand american culture and a lot of things don't make sense to me.

This is not a rant or complain, frankly I'm surprised I don't get banned more often.

You're going to confuse a lot of North Americans by using the term 'Hellenic', malaka! Lol. Just say Greek ;). I haven't been banned here (yet), but I'm infamous for spending time in FB jail. I've earned my nickname ;)

I'll summarize it (keep in mind, I speak with no authority what so ever). You can insult ideas but don't insult people. You can say "that is idea is really dumb" but you can't say "you're an idiot."

Does that make sense?

Yes, it makes sense, but unfortunately, it doesn't work that way on the DDO forum, at least not for me—especially not on the old forum.

But...the country of Hellas is Greece

The only time I really see Hellenistic being used to distinguish from Greek is in antiquity. And all those cultures have been pretty blurred by Turkic and Slavic intermixing over the last 2000 years. So unless you're reeeal old...lol

If you remember your posts you can tell which post was the problem because it will no longer be on the forums. The moderator that issued the infraction will have deleted it.

If i recall you ranted about shop til you drop and i dont see that post now so maybe something in there? Unless i am confused about that poster or you deleted it yourself of course.

If you look into your acount details, like posts made and history. You'll see a section for infractions or something similar. It should provide some detail as to why you were banned. Though, often the offending posts are deleted / censored.

So you never seen the olympics or a world cup or a euro cup or any sporting event or any political summit ever? Or even global contests like miss world or mr universe or eurovision? Because if you had, you would notice distinctly my country's "official" name there under the flag is "Hellas". That's how we call our country in our language. "Hellenistic" is the name of a period, not a country name or the name of the people. "Hellenic" is the name of the people. Only foreigners use the word Greece/Greek and we only use it when talking to foreigners because usually it takes too long to explain this to them in casual conversation. But this is the internet so there you go <3

But they used to send you a private message with the post that got you points. Once you collected enough you could relive your greatest hits.

That's what I'm trying to find with zero success! I go to my account details and I can see "replies" "alerts" etc etc but no section for infractions like the old forums used to have.
