Are you sure it was the “profanity” and not badmouthing their mechanic? Sometimes they are more sensitive than others. I got one for questioning their QA once—go figure.

Pretty much all online forums / comment areas are heavily moderated by bots. YouTube has it mostly automated, where all someone has to do is say they feel harassed to have your account banned from posting for 1-2 days. Interestingly, they never provide the means to defend yourself from false accusations as that would require paying someone to physically moderate.
Well if bots moderate these boards, I think they get weekends off.
That is what work is for.

Hellenic is a word for the mainland geographical region of greece, and a reference to greek culture, nothing more.
It is not an empowering term, although a self righteous person could inflect the word in whatever manner they wish to try and indicate some form of superiority.
The Romans often implied that a people should know when they are conquered. As has always been a way of life, the superior usually conquer(as Octavian/Augustus did). As is likely the current case where American culture has a difficult time understanding other cultures that dont model after their current paradigm of superiority, which would look at current greece as the equivalent of Barbar(foriegners).
Although the original post about bans is accurate in that those that receive bans should be given accurate info as to why a ban was given in order to be better able to comply with guidelines(something even a AI bot can do), claiming that one doesnt understand the reason behind things because of their culture could potentially indicate that the person making such claims should spend some time to research and educate themselves on such nuances.
