How do you craft intelligence shards? Also ang guilds accepting mostly solo players?

I'm playing solo most of the time, so I want equipment that boosts things like intelligence, Charisma and wisdom so I can complete all optional quest. I want to make my own equipment that crams most of the effect in one item, but I can't seem to find things like Intelligence shards, Charisma shards and so on. Diamonds augments are helpful but I feel like wasted potential if I use those instead. What lvl do I need to craft those things?

Also side question, I want to join a guild so I can get its benefits, but 1) I'm new to this game and very weak, as I prefer to play things my way. 2) I play on really random times so group events are probably a no-go, I can join occasionally, but I can't guarantee that. 3) When I play, I try to limit myself to only an hour per day, so long quest are going to be tough... I am willing to play longer so long as I'm free. With that said, any kind of guild like this?

You need crafting level 100 to guarantee crafting of those stats, but a crafting level near that will give you a good chance.

But if you're low level and don't have that high of crafting level, you're probably better off using Potions of Fox's Cunning, Eagle's Splendor, etc. as they give +4 to those stats and you won't get a higher bonus to stats from gear until level 7+.

As for guilds, it depends on which server you're on, but most guilds that aren't too pretentious don't mind newbies that can only play a little bit.

you need to be higher in crafting xp level to see the shards without changing the numbers in the window to higher range. ( you wont be able to craft it (0%) until you have enough xp from crafting low level shards 1st. it is easier to level augments then to rebuild the item as you level up.

Welcome to the game! I'm mostly a solo player so I'm with ya on that one.

I think with crafting in mind, it is always good to have a long-view on it. I'm not sure how much I would mess with it at lower levels. Work up your levels and keep crunching items as you go. Get a good store of crafting items built up and save your cannith crystals for crafting weekend.

Run new toons through the crafting tutorial for crafting xp potions and success boosters (I run all of my characters through this).
You will have to hit higher levels, but you'll also want to get your cannith favor to hit 50 @ some point for more crafting goodies.

Tips from the Wiki:
  • The Fabricators Guild Tutorial rewards you with either a Greater Crafting Experience Elixirs (75%, 30 minutes, BtA) or 5 25% Crafting Success Boosters, BtA. Since burning through even 50,000 Cannith Essences can be done within 30 minutes time, it is recommended that you have enough essences before starting a 30 minute crafting spree. You can run the tutorial quest with all of your characters every life and either select the Elixir, or the Success Boosters if you already have an elixir ready to go for a crafting spree. Since both the elixir and the crafting boosters are Bound to Account, you can pass them to your crafter via the shared bank. The tutorial quest can be obtained from Maker in the Kundarak Crafting Hall, Felix d'Cannith in the Harbor, or Vertigo in the Marketplace.
*I run all of my characters though this as well as my testing toons when they are capable of doing so.*
  • Roughly after the ability to craft lvl 23 Bound Minimum-Level-Shards, progression slows significantly. Between failures, increased XP needed for each crafting level, and needing increasingly more Essence per higher lvl shard, you might only gain 5 levels, even with the above boosting combo. Getting to max lvl crafting might take a long long time.
    • Staying at character lvl 32 for a bit and getting lots 30-32 lvl unbound equipment, is the quickest way to get lots of Essence."

Level to crafting level 375 in about 30 minutes:

  • 250 boosters (last guy had 200 and used every one) 35% boosters in store, or 25% boosters from crafting tutorial in House Kundarak Cannith Crafting area.
  • 2 xp pots (Last guy only used 1 100% xp pot) 100% crafting xp potions in store or 75% pots from crafting tutorial in House K.
  • If you have shared bank and an empty toon slot you can create characters, do tutorial, dump boosters or potion in shared bank, delete toon and do again.
  • 60,000 essences (last guy used 55,000)
  • Fastest way to get essences is crunching level 30+ items. Preferably do so on the guy you desire to be your crafting as each crunch give 5 xp.
  • Bonus crafting xp weekend (last guy it was a +25% xp weekend) (normally +50% weekend)(+30% might be the best nowadays)
  • Craft lowest chance Minimum Level Shard / biggest xp payout
  • Since you are doing min level shards you only need essences, no collectables
  • Switch every time a new one becomes available
  • Switching between bound and unbound minimum level shards is optimal and may even be necessary at times
  • You may have to close and reopen the crafting window when you have a success for it to properly update the information in the window (they appear to have fixed this)
  • video of Vooduspyce doing this
  • https://forums.ddo.com/index.php?threads/cannith-crafting-rapid-levelling-guide.88/ Rapid Leveling guide. Dragavon recommends a method conserving boosters. May be better to use boosters. Just depends on if you find it easier to get more boosters or more essences as his method will cost more essences since you are not always using boosters.
  • “In order to get a 3% chance for crafting a shard your level must end in a "1" as in 101, 151, 201 ect. The shard you will be attempting to craft will be 29 levels above that so 130, 180, 230 etc. After crafting the shard always remember to take out your success booster. You then look at the highest xp for level shards and judge what you need to hit the next "1" mark. If you over shoot and your level ends in a "2" you lose over half the potential xp.” Mornynstar (I have not tried this but this sounds correct and probably optimal, although I don’t think you need to take out your booster)
  • You only actually need to get to like level 275 in crafting to be able to craft anything bound to account. You can probably reach that with about 100 boosters and 40,000 essences. You only need higher if you want to craft unbound items for others.

Thanks for this graph! I wasn't able to find it when I was searching, so this is incredibly helpful
