How much data is used playing DDO?

I'm going to be traveling a bit and need to get a hot spot. So far the highest data plan from my carrier is 150gb/month. I play 2-3 hours a day. Will 150gb be enough?

From what I recall, it's pretty low data requirements to play (outside game updates). I vaguely recall a post from @J1NG with numbers at one point, but I'm not finding it via a forum search so I might be recalling incorrectly who made that post or not using the search terms needed to get it to show.

Not much honestly I played on my hotspot while travelling a few times and didn't even come close to the given 10gb included cap. While running a fairly large amount of content

If you "played" non stop for 24 hours straight, raiding, everything, always on the move, you might use between 40 to 50 megabytes a day. There's a big difference between just standing somewhere quiet and doing something with a lot of moving parts/other people.

My guildie plays on a cell hotspot link that's 100G. (he's rural, and it's his only internet access).

As long as windows doesn't have a HUGE update, he's good playing 3-4 hours a day, 7 days a week, along with you-tube, general web surfing, internet radio, etc.

When windows does have a major update, he's usually taking a break for a few days until it resets.
