how to know when lamania is open

hi!! this might be a silly question, but i’m a very long time player (since i think 2012) but this is my first time trying out lamannia. i just downloaded the client today but it says lamannia is closed.

is there a way to know when it is open or closed? i had figured it would be open because of the new race dropping but it could be an operator error

Upcoming?: Cordovan would hint in Fridays at Four when Lamannia should open. usually he would say "in the next couple of weeks", "next week" or "soon".
Actual Launch?: The Lamannia Announcements channel in Discord will ping when Lamm has opened. Note: you have to Browse Channels and enable them to see specific text channels in Discord.
Other Non-Discord Option?: The Lammannia News sub forum will have posts from the Devs when it is up. Hit the 'Watch' button to get notifications for this sub-forum.

Edit: Lamannia is currently closed and generally only stays open for around 3 days at a time.

Check the Staff Tracker whenever you're on the forums. It'll show lots of staff activity when they're launching a Lama preview, and they'll usually also mention it upcoming the week before.

Thank you for the post! We recently did some work to update our launcher newsfeeds, and one of the things we've done is to have a better (read: functional) Lamannia launcher newsfeed. Currently all it really has is some now-outdated preview items and a first post with a link to the Lamannia download, but we've been thinking we should keep a post towards or at the top with Lamannia: OPEN or CLOSED or whatever. I've personally just been a bit too busy to worry about it, but it's a good idea we should and will be doing.
