How well do SK Chains work with Handwraps?

Hey all
Thinking of going back to monk (love the run speed) and Ying has a fantastic looking build, but- I solo a lot, I know way back when i used to see a number of posts about SK chains with Handwraps for builds, but don't seem to on the "new" forums. The attack speed *looks* ok on a test toon but I figured I'd ask about people's experiences with it before I commit.

Does it have to be a handwrap monk? SDK chains get more damage from SWF light weapons; e.g., kamas, short swords, dagger or kukri via Vistani KF, or one of the Dragon Disciple options (handaxe, sickle, light pick).

If you're going to use chains on a monk then go vistani for a swf kukri...chains are too slow at twf speeds, but thats just me.

I would do a swash fighter (or dragonlord) handaxe build for the chains

Yeah I have a SK SWF, hadn't realized it was a slower attack with wraps.

SDK Chains and Handwraps work very well in my direct experience, absurdly so when your Haste boosted. One of my favourite builds for speed running is SDK Pure Monk 20 as a Handwraps Shintao Monk with full investment in GMoF.
