Huge mistake, need help

I think I just destroyed my character by not understanding the reincarnation process well enough. This is my first life in epics as some of you know through other threads I've posted. I'm an iconic shadarkai rogue. I did an epic reincarnation at 30 back to 20, then leveled up to 31 and did another epic reincarnation. My plan was to do a racial reincarnation when I leveled up to 20 with the lifeshaper. Instead, When I logged out and reincarnated (still as an iconic, should have been my first clue), as I leveled back up to 20 with the lifeshaper, I just put in whatever stats that had nothing to do with my character, thinking that when I leveled up to 20, I could then do a racial reincarnation, so the stats didn't matter. D'oh!

Now I'm stuck at a level 20 shadarkai rogue with no skills, abilities, or feats that have anything to do with my character. Help! how can I respec back to level 1 and do it right?

Then, when get back to Level 30, I should do an iconic reincarnation, right?

You can get up to a +5 Lesser Reincarnation Heart through the DDO store, but not a +20 heart.

If I understood correctly you play iconic shadar kai leved to 30, reincarnated, done it again and then after epic reincarnation, leveled to 20 and attempted racial reincarnation?

you can't do racial reincarnation as iconic

you can only do ETR at 30, or iconic TR at 30, nothing else.
if your build is messed up, your only hope is lesser heart to essentially "respec"

oof. Yeah, iconics cannot do racials or normal class reincs, they can only do epics and iconic reincs, and iconic can only be done at 30+.

Some may be able to still level via slayers, or if you have friends, be carried as they quest for you.

However, if you're lucky and patient, you can try contacting CS (send in a help ticket in game) and explain the goof up. I have friends who did that by mistake and got a free lesser heart to redo the build. iirc CS doesn't do this often, but once from your first good is possible.

that one let's you change one level up to another class...
let's say your iconic shadar kai, must take rogue as first level but rest is free choice.
with lesser heart +1 you can take SK, level to 15 (1 rogue +14 something else) and use that heart to lesser reincarnate and change that mandatory first level to something else (but if you do that MAKE SURE TO CHECK WIKI FIRST FOR IN DEPTH GUIDE BECAUSE IT'S EASY TO MESS UP)

With a +1 LHoW you could change one level to a different class.

DDO takes a lot of time investment to get to the level the vets are at, but having played other games, there is nothing like DDO, despite the complaints in the forums.

Nah... wait until you're 10 years into the game and repeat the mistake. Then the Dumass really hits home.

Don't worry about being a dumass. I'll almost guarantee you'll get tripped up again by something else sooner or later.

If you Cannith Craft be particularly careful because it is easy to waste resources crafting an unbound item that wounds up bound because something...

My first character and still my favorite has had it's share of issues (due to the owners lack of understanding or planning sometimes...) Welcome to Clan McDumass (it's Scottish/French!) It's a large family that few care to admit belonging to.

DDO takes a lot of time investment to get to the level the vets are at, but having played other games, there is nothing like DDO, despite the complaints in the forums.

You won't be in this family for long. You get it. DDO is a game where you measure 10-20 times and (hopefully) cut once. I am always paranoid when it comes time to do any kind of reincarnation, and this is definitely a game where knowledge is power. Worse case, you will earn +1 to your hindsight wisdom score!

that's easy to think since lesser hearts are not exactly well explained.
that's why wiki is more or less mandatory because someone did it before and wiki will warn about it.
