I thought only the 196 where left but there is 230 threads in the bank for some reason after I tried to put 196 threads into the bank when I had 9907 already stored not sure why it kept 34 from the 9907 honestly if it was gonna delete any why did it not atleast delete the 196 INSTEAD of the 9907.......

Did you place any more Threads into the Shared bank since then?

And can you confirm it was the Shared "Ingredient" Bank section, or just the normal Shared "Item" Bank section that this happened in?

This bug has been around for years. It's extremely difficult to reproduce because it happens so infrequently, like not having runes/threads in a raid chest. I doubt the 10k number is relevant since I've had guildies lose set augments because of it. DDO is full of race conditions where unintended things happen like this.

It was the shared crafting storage not item storage and no i have not put anymore threads since then i have not played at all since this happened.

One final question, did you purchase the expansion to the Crafting Storage area? So increased from the free 10 spaces, VIP extras and got the +500 extra spaces purchased, etc?

Currently, I have tried the 9907 Threads and then tried adding 196 in, and it correctly separated them out. Giving me 10k Threads and 103 Threads in a new stack in the crafting storage.

We are aware that there is a bug where if you have purhcased the expanded Crafting Storage and do something there with stacks, it can go catastrophically wrong, with remaining items from leftever being completed removed rather than placed back into the Bank. This could be a variation of that issue.

I have max crafting storage of 2045 and i also have all spaces taken so i tried puting the 196 threads into a crafting storage with no extra space left i expected it to add to the existing stack and tell me there is no room in the bank and leave some leftover as you know that did not happen...

Just 10 minutes ago i lost 9907 threads from trying to put 196 threads into my shared bank and because it hit the max stack of 10000 9907 threads of fate got deleted omfg........................................................................................................
Shared bank or he Shared Crafting Bank? An old bug: the shared crafting bank had this issue if you craft from the bank and not your character has the mats. If this is true this is a new issue.

Ahhh... The bolded and underlined part is the critical part here.

I can see if that same issue happens with my less amount of space, but near as I can tell there is working as intended, as no overflow is normally expected at the Shared Crafting Storage bank section (until recently with the transfers).

Be right back.

:: edit ::
Testing with the basic 12 Crafting Storage spaces filled, 11 with different items, and slot 12 with the 9907 Threads, adding 196 more Threads worked normally and made the Threads in the Crafting Storage go up to 10k and the remainder stayed out in inventory. So it doesn't look like this impacts on a non-expanded Crafting Storage. It could be related to the issue talked about previously and by @Zvdegor above, which is an issue with extended Crafting Storage, but we've never had time to track it down exactly what the issue is, only we know there's an issue there. This could be a related issue.

Will be going to test on an account with the expanded storage to see if it impacts an account with that.

Updating with test results.

I just tried at max position of 795 with the 9907 Threads at position 705 odd (so separated by a page or two from the end) and also tried it at the very end (Last In) before adding in the 196 other Threads. I also tried with packed backpack inventory as well (no more space). As well as dragging it to the bank page where the Threads are and where the Threads are not (different pages for the Threads in storage or on same page). And in all of these instances, the DDO bank was able to retain 10k Threads in the Crafting Storage section and left the remainder in backpack inventory.

Will see if I can't dream up of any other test to see if I can help narrow down search for this problem. But right now, there's no further headway here at the moment.

Keep an eye on your ticket and let us know when it suddenly gets marked as solved without any actual response from them. No reason. Just for fun.

If you haven't heard anything then they probably haven't gotten around to it. CS is very slow and it could be a matter of months rather than weeks if/when they get back to you. There are several instances of people on the forums who have not had their requests addressed for several months ago, some dating back to transfers.

You can re-submit a ticket, but I don't think it will help. It only bogs down the system, and the feeling I get from what others who have posted on the forums about sending multiple requests in is that those duplicate requests tend to get auto-closed and never addressed.

You just have to wait and pay attention to your email. Worst thing is for them to respond to you, and you not see it and not respond back to them within a specific time frame, as that only leads to a automatic ticket closure without resolution.

In short, be patient, and when/if they get back to you hopefully they can fix your issue. Nothing much you can do beyond that.

They can take months to respond to your ticket(sadly). However, sometimes you get lucky and they help you but yeah it takes long.
