I quit DDO because of the lag!

I'm going to stop playing DDO until someone can permanently fix the lag. Playing tonight around 9:45 pm, Pacific time, on Thrane on heroic elite Rest for the Night, I died 3 times because I couldn't move, couldn't heal, couldn't deal damage, nothing. I even logged out of the game completely only to log back in to the same thing. This is unbearable. It was never this bad on the 32-bit servers. I thought the 64-bit servers were supposed to be better. So far, they get an F. Sorry.

Well, I feel you. I certainly didn´t expect the transition to the new servers to go smoothly, but I also didn´t expect things to get so much worse.
As a result, I´m playing much less. Whenever I log in and see other players rubberband around the marketplace, I´ll just log right off again.
I´m not there yet to completely quit, but we´re getting there ...

You quit, because you don't understand the totality of the situation and are impatient. Your posting your tantrum, because you don't have the life skills to wait it out. Good bye child.

Sorry to read that.

Those last couple month has been an exercise in patience try to play DDO... I feel you, last night I died a few times frozen in place to trivial stuff we can handle with easy.

Take your time, we know you will comeback!

wut?

What's the totality of the situation?
Why does someone need to develop life skills to deal with a company's crappy product? Why isn't deciding to quit until they fix it not the appropriate response?
You seem confused. Or I am. One of us definitely is.

From what I've been able to find, SSG hasn't posted anything about their efforts to fix the problem since that 1 post soon after the transfers began that they were going to spend a whole weekend working the issue. It's been crickets ever since. It's my understanding that moving from 32-bit servers to 64-bit servers was supposed to fix most of the problems that the game had even though there are half as many servers. I would think that simply copying the game data from one computer to another should have been a no brainer. Yet, nothing works. I logged in for the first time this morning, and I couldn't move my toon for over 10 minutes. How does that improve the game?

I also read that the transfer process was getting a lot better in that players didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes for their character to transfer. I've been playing DDO since October 2009, and I became a VIP member the following month. I buy every expansion, and I've spent thousands of dollars on bonus points bundles and stuff in the DDO Store. Is it too much to ask of SSG for a quality product and service? This is no different than complaining to your local restaurant that your favorite dish was made poorly. Customers expect quality value for their money.
