It's good for the streamIf they're bad ideas about bad builds to play...Doesn't that make them good builds?
How about Morninglord: Cleric/Abyssal Pact Warlock/Ranger using The Mad Lute as weapon.
That's right, a Raging axe-thrower with STR to hit and CON to damage. The best part: people will see a dwarven bardbarian holding a tiny axe and think, "Oh, they must be a handaxe build" until they realize to their horror that you're throwing them instead. But if that's not spicy enough for my fellow dwarf-lovers: max CON then STR, swap DLord for barbarian, go all-in on Rage bonuses to both stats. STR to hit, CON to damage, INT or DEX Battle Trance. I think 36 DWS / 18 dwarf / 6 Swashbuckler / either 6 Harper or 13 Horizon Walker is the baseline. For Epic Destinies, definitely take Tier-4 Fury of the Wild for Unquenchable Rage. Amaze your friends with how not awesome your DPS is!
Love the lore with itThat's right, a Raging axe-thrower with STR to hit and CON to damage. The best part: people will see a dwarven bardbarian holding a tiny axe and think, "Oh, they must be a handaxe build" until they realize to their horror that you're throwing them instead.
You can make it even worse if you switch to throwing hammers which only have x2 crit multiplier vs throwing axes' x3.

I love "flavor" builds...They're what we all had in PnP. That was part of the fun. You really sucked at some things (maybe a lot of things) but had niche scenarios where you shined.I think a key ‘bad’ build is one that looks like it should be decent but ends up being flavor. For ex, a dex-based weaponized (non-handwrap) melee ninja—it has its sneak uses; can throw stars occassionally but not effectively; would need to build around quivering palm instead of the easier stuns; and end up with short swords due to feat limitations (due to grabbing some for shuriken). One route is SWF with kukri and Patience, wisdom trance maybe?
This ain't 5e, buddy, now take your bardadin nonsense home.Paladin 12, Bard 6, Rogue 2.
