I strongly recommend we have some type of in-game tie-in a week prior to the transfers.
It would have multiple purposes,
1.) A fun way to celebrate our final goodbyes to our old server.
2.) Reminder to everyone that the transfers are coming and to prepare. (Some just login and play and are not obsessive over news).
3.) Reminder to new players that these once in a lifetime server transfers are coming
4.) Perhaps an event to incentivize getting rid of excess inventory on our characters.
