so i am not good to much but thinking on making ranged tanky dps build.. and want to her what others think..

one opitian is going
41 in inq with tier 5 for all the ranged power and imbue
15 falconry for wisdom to hit and dmg +5% quiltey hp
21 war priest for more imbue dice and +10% scared hp - light spell power and armour class
3 dark apostie to gain the imbue toogle

seacond opition
will be more war priest foucs 41 there losoing dmg i n inqustive teir 5 but gaing 20 hp 10 prr mrr +divine intervition

also for frist layout maybe instened of falconry taking 3 lvl fighter/play and getting 25 comste hp plus swaltet dfece 25 prr mrr{if i were to had ength racicl poit for racil 5 quilty{drawf} might be evev better} {on skills might be even able to get trapping with one roge arti if you have tomes and all}

for domain probly protction or animal {anmial could also help in trapper for spot}

on that i am mainly thinking 1 how imporetnet is to get falconry wisdom to hit and dmg
secodly on race thinking warforged for mectrinc destiny wich will give me most of my bulk and run arm use but since building cleric will have also healing and want to be a bit of healer i dont know if it relly smart..
so bacaclliy asking to hear diffrent idaes thoghts on this

sorry if it is hard to understand and would love to hear yore thogthts on this.

What exactly do you mean by "ranged tank?" Are you going to invest in a lot of threat amp and kite enemies around? Because I think that would make you very unpopular in raids, where most players will expect the tank to keep the bosses locked down in place so they can beat it down.

Or do you just want a ranged DPS with added survivability? There are lots of ways of boosting HPs, PRR, etc. Though there are usually tradeoffs of course; i.e. feats and APs you spend on survival are not being spent on DPS.

It's easier to recommend a build when you have a clear idea of how you want to play.

Why do I have 614 ddo build files
I feel like building a tank without Competence HP is a bit suspect. Have you considered a split? 17/3 Cleric/Pally (or Fighter) would give access to the improved defender stance without costing you much at all (you don't have any late cores in Cleric stuff). Otherwise yeah, 41 Warpriest is pretty decent, and 23 Inquis covers most of the goals there.

As another option: FvS offers a little HP, wings, and native Charisma to Hit/Damage/Trance (also Wis, but Cha is a lot better for a tank since it doubles up for Intimidate value). War Soul is short 10 PRR/MRR and you can't run Protection Domain, but it might make the AP splits more viable.

Scion of Mechanus, Shards of Mechanus, and Machro's Mending Burst allow any repairable toon to be fairly sustainable in like LH raids up through low Reaper (depending on investment) - that said, with 14+ Cleric levels and as a tank build you usually want to be easily healable via positive IMO.

As far as general value of ranged DPS on a tank, it's a lot easier to re-establish threat when a boss phases/teleports/etc, to generally grab threat when questing, and having some DPS on a tank makes them a lot more gearfarming etc capable.

Seems like you're just recreating a worse version of a Paladin Inqui

You're spending a lot of AP just to get +15% HP, and giving up a Trance too. And you dont need a second Imbue (and have to build for Light SP) when Inqui already has the best imbue, and it's RP based. Also, you'd have to Favor Xbows in Inqui, which means giving up 5% Dshot in the multiselector

A Paladin split (15/4 Arti/1 Clr) gives you more of what you want: 15 PRR MRR from Angelskin, 25% Comp HP from Sac Def, 10% Dshot from Zeal, 15 RP from Righteous Command

41 Inqui, 13 Sac Def, 13 BE, 7 Fey 4 Warpriest CHA based. Gets you full Inqui goodness, Shatter Defenses for more doubletap AOE, and your 25% HP with 25 PRR/MRR, plus lots of bonus saves and juicy LoH

The only drawback there is Wallwatch doesnt have a Medium armor option, so you'll have to use a Vecna ranged set instead.

Also I believe Sac Def stance doesnt increase your ranged threat gen, only melee, so you should be OK in group play

i gusse i want mainly more survablity in it rather then usal tank just becuase i am problay prettey noob and feel like i am dying too often..it also seems cool for soloing or almost soloing and thoght clirec becuase of divine intervion for raids like the srhoud and revenloft

well i did worte in other opitians the paly split.. gusse if you take warfoged{deftlaiy without racail points it manily for epic to get more use of mectrionic and 10 prr and mrr from constract.. wich i dont know if it worth it{it also gives immuntey to negte lvls..}
faveroed soul is intersting idea but does also lose 10% scared hp i dont how much the deffirent will be but it is a something to think about..

well didn't know about the paladain build....
my thoghet was on clierc frist for war prist divine intervotin it has perrtey usefull effecat for some raids quest that not many run.... trance you have in warpriest too and 25% compste you can get from 3 pally split and full clirc{tier 5} still gets 20%..
in both paladian builds you said you lose the 10% scared hp cleric protction domain in spilt gives 21 prr and 4 mrr and pretty nice spells.. so give and take i am nt sure if it is that much worse..

Div Int is definitely useful, but giving up your Inqui T5s is a major loss of DPS. Inqui is usually handcuffed to its T5s. You really want that 30% attack speed, and Auto-Diplo is handy not only for shedding aggro but also for proccing Observation for the offensive buffs. Usually what Inqui Clerics are going for is the 10% Dshot in T4, and Ameliorating Strike. If you're going T5 Warpriest, then that usually synergizes better with a STR melee build. Or at most a Silver Flame bow cleric with Horizon Walker as your second tree, if you wanted to do ranged - that would make your Divine Vessel attacks a little punchier, since they wont hit twice with Dual Xbow

If you claimed Favored Soul when it was being given away, you could do an Inquisitive / Warsoul combo. Unlike most Competence bonuses to HPs, Warsoul's Divine Champion isn't tied to using melee weapons; nor does it increase threat like Sacred / Stalwart defensive stance does. T5 Warsoul isn't as strong as T5 Inquisitive, but the whole point here is you think pure-DPS Inquisitive is too squishy, so something's gotta give.

Why FvS instead of cleric? WIS (or CHA) to Favored weapons is an inherent part of the class, so no need to spend points in the Falconry (or Feydark Illusionist) tree. That frees a lot of APs; it's even possible to do Inquisitive capstone + T5 Warsoul to keep as many Inquisitive DPS buffs as possible. Or if your idea is to be more of a DPS support build, pure FvS 20 with something like 41 Warsoul / 31 Inquisitive / 8-10 Beacon of Hope is also an option.

yeah thinking to go more to the longbow route now, but with racial AA i just want to use the imbue dice in warprist tree at this point..hope will go well. it wont have the mectroinc opitian in epic too much but should be fine for ranged and AA dosent have to have its tier 5..

Dark Apostate opens up Apostate's Curse, which is a better Imbue than Fires of Fury: nothing resists Evil damage AFAIK, there's more bonus Imbue dice, plus T4 Enhanced Curse gives Curse-on-critical-hit effect.

Though if you're switching to archery, I'll reiterate pure Favored Soul / Warsoul as an option for a more support-/survivability-oriented ranged DPS / healer combo. Something like this:
Warsoul Archer
Favored Soul 20
Chaotic Neutral Human
