Ooh! Ooh! I know! Another 10% durability buff!
Maybe, but would it be additive? So for the second year, the 10% would add to the current 10% for a total of 20%? That works for most of the months, but not for the month 6 or month 12 rewards.

According to Tolero, the new VIP rewards will add on to the current rewards.

Something you just get when you log on instead of needing to go to the Hall of Heroes to collect it.

Can anybody point me to an answer on what happens if you've been logging on every week for the past year but haven't gone to the HoH and clicked on Peregrine each month? I reckon I've just got the month 5 reward ... so ... awesome.

It only advances when you claim the reward per month. So if you haven't claimed for 6 months then you'd still be on the same reward available as 6 months ago.

That's pretty bad, it should be automatic.
In all FREE games avaible with a rewards calendar, the rewards are given automatically. If you forget to claim them but were logged into the game, you should be able to collect all your rewards at once.
And here we r talking about VIP rewards, something we are paying for...

SSG COULD have created a small icon similar to daily dice in the same area. But equally when you approach the VIP rewards guy a menu appears with a number of different options. maybe SSG can offer the icon offering the next item, leaving additional options with the VIP rewards guy

I really hope the year two rewards will be better than the year one rewards have been. For most months I have only had a sad feeling running down to the VIP rewards npc, where it should have been excitement and happiness.

I am not holding my breath though.

You just described their business model. Make people subscribe by creating FOMO for future rewards.

Maybe so.

I have always been VIP though and have no intentions of changing that. Its more about the convinience than anything for me - so I am not bunny-hopping between VIP and Premium as the wind blows and it does not have anything to do with some small rewards or not.

If others want to do so thats cool but for me VIP is where it is and the day I am not VIP is the day I no longer play DDO. Which may happen if the 64 bit Euro server does not turn out to improve things.

So, if you have a torn in your eye wrt FOMO I am not really affected by that.
