Yep. I often watch videos that are not live as I am sure a lot of folks do. My point was that at least SSG is trying to reach different audiences rather than just folks who already are playing DDO.

It would be best of they paid off some "big" creators to do this and not the "DDO" creators.
"DDO" creators are only watched by people who play DDO. You need exposure outside the core group. Trust me, I'm an expert on exposing myself.

I don't mind Creators "promoting" the game; I think it's awesome! I have a problem that they may get major stakes in Changes to the game, unless I am mistaken. And...
I do, if this influences devs. This being random comments from people who do not play DDO that upset our Devs to the point of Nerf. [ref: tumble]Who honestly care ?

"Going to Lam" is great IF you have the time. *AND can catch that window of Opportunity -- it's not like Lam is always available.

Well the original post did make no mention of having a preview for normal players, that was added later.
For me the problem has 2 sides:
Some of these creators are just bad actors. I've seen streamers try to buy duped ottos boxes in shady community sites, for example. And they to this day still get developer interviews and giveaway codes.
And secondly, these creators being paid by SSG and having to abide by some unknown rules, while being under a NDA so we will never know these rules, frankly to me that makes them not trustworthy on any things related to DDO. Their reviews are only useful if I wanted to see what a particular cosmetic looks like.
The problem is not them getting one day earlier access, but it was the implication that this might be a creators only preview. I don't need to be on the preview server myself, but I really would like for people that are more trustworthy to be able to get access.

Is it possible to have a Sandboxed "Weekend Lamania" preview:
It seems this would help many that don't have the ability to Play during the work week and still be able to participate in "trying out" the new changes/Updates.
Grant it it would not be on equal paving to regular Lamania Preview but it would allow those who:
1. Were available to try out during the week an extended window, but with locked Character changes (Sandboxed, alleviates, if having Normal Preview requires someone being on premise to administer. )
2. Gives more interactions since it would include a larger player base to try out an otherwise inaccessible Time Window, when regular Lamania is open.
- Regular Lamania rules are done during normal uptime. Wed-Thu.
- Weekend Lamania no Character changes can be made at this time and only instanced players (Pack/Unpack rules) can test out Explorer/Dungeons/Changes-Updates.
It seems this would help many that don't have the ability to Play during the work week and still be able to participate in "trying out" the new changes/Updates.

Again, who cares ? We all will see it eventually.
Most people won't go to Lamannia anyway. I'd even say most don't even know DDO has a preview server.
On the other hand, looking at the number of viewers on the streams (around 100 people in total), most people won't know anything anyway.
(And who's there to watch ?
It seems like the most boring people in the world have gathered for DDO streams. 
Well, I guess, there are still like a couple of interesting streams going around from time to time.)

I didn't see the original post so I don't know if this was already included or not, but it currently clearly mentions that the creator access beings Monday and it'll be open to everyone else on Tuesday.
What creators are being paid by SSG? loooooool. My paycheck and NDA from SSG must've got lost in the mail. Also, the only thing you "missed" by one day was access to a wilderness area. I'm sure you'll manage waiting 24 hours.
This is not a new thing, so your assumption that it was a creators-only preview is due to the fact that you either haven't been around or haven't paid attention.
You need "trustworthy" people to tell you about a wilderness area a day before whoever you call trustworthy would be able to tell you about it? FYI, content creators are independent from the company. You should do some research before complaining.
I'd consider it... but it would be hard knowing that I would automatically become untrustworthy in the eyes of Voenixa121.

This is hilarious PR. No one wants the teacher pointing out the kids with the A+ y'know? A better way to do this would have been to announce "Lamannia opens for the public on Tuesday!". Then, below the general announcement, have the early creator access & blurb as a component. Why focus on the creator early access and not the general public access in the announcement? Creator early access is very normal and acceptable, but the presentation was like almost designed to say "we're giving creators special treatment!!". Which again, is fine, but I don't understand talking up the 'exclusive' nature of the one day preview so much?
I'm assuming the phrasing of the announcement was intended to throw creators a bone & push views to livestreams the day of and maybe longform videos if they get it out same-day?
