Got Demogorgon and have run one quest in particular looking for a specific item.

Just searched to dbl check l was in correct quest and item has been magically Exchanged with a completely different one and AFAICT, the aforementioned item no longer exists.

Is this normal? To eradicate an item after release, after sucking you into purchasing?

I know they also did this with falsifying the main stat at +16, then down to +15, but is this a regular occurrence that l just never noticed because l’ve always waited months to purchase new content so they have time to fix some of the bugs and issues that l know others have encountered?

Thinking l don’t play any more of the new content till others have verified what is actually dropping and roll able vs wasting rolls on false info.

Really weird……

The stat downgrade is well-known and has been discussed in other threads.

It's possible the item was changed or it may be part of the as-yet-unreleased 13th quest. It's not currently known when the 13th quest will be added, but my personal guess is that it won't be until later this year, and will be the "freebie" quest to close out the year like Body and Mind was for Lamordia last year.

If things hold to previous patterns, the raid should be due in August, but I don't recall if they've previewed a raid item with the normal expansion content, but you never know.

The release notes for update 81 states the 13th quest will come out on august 19th.

I look over all loot to see what is appealing before and after expansion comes out. Thought everyone did this and so thought the item would be sought after by others and fairly obvious but maybe not?

Legendary Shaped Great Forged Helm

Still shows in the compendium but already changed on Wiki

Up until this morning it was listed in the loot available in Tower of Vengeance

Some gear was showing up in multiple locations. u81.0.1 fixed that:
  • The drop locations of several items in Terror of Demogorgon have changed to ensure that named items are not dropping in more than one location.
So wiki is probably still updating from that. As for that item, pretty sure it comes off the optional in the egg quest.

Not tortured at all my friend 🙂

Just an attention to detail kind of guy that not much gets past.

It was the one piece that could have fit with my current gear and the reason l noticed it.

Not going to lose any sleep over, just wondering Why. Why release things before they’re finished and ready for release?

Lamannia shows some state of development, not the finished product. So, yeah, between the last preview and the release the devs can change literally anything and everything.

Those are not some official stuff. This is all written by the players.
First, the item must drop for a player. And not just any player, but someone who makes/wants to make a correction on the wiki, etc. 🤷‍♂️ It takes time.

I have pic of item from quest but pics are such a pita to post on here probably not worth the effort

The wiki is wrong then, which isn't uncommon as it is maintained by players. It doesn't match what was on Lam before release. Even then, things can still change before the live servers.

I'm not sure the problem is the item has changed - could it be mistaken overlap of items.

Legendary Shaped Great Forge Helm is not in the loot table at all, only Legendary Great Forge Helm. Perhaps it is missing because of the delayed quest (coming 19 Aug so not that long now)
