So it was a naming issue instead of the same item showing up in different places, One was meant to be named Legendary Shaped Duergarcraft Helm?

Multiple issues.
1) Some named items were showing up in more than one place; I don't know if either helm was one of those things.
2) Wiki is still a work in progress as items are being found/verified.
3) Some loot is probably still not in the game until the 13th quest comes out next month.

Bottom line, that helm was listed in the quest, in the list of head items, in the list of ins accuracy items etc etc.
Saw it day after expansion released and right up to playing last night.
As of today it no longer exists as it was and as it appeared in original previews and has been replaced with a helm of the same name with completely Different stats.

No longer exists where? In the game? Do you loot a helmet with that name with different stats than the preview? Or you just talking about the wiki?

One thing is for sure, l will pick my title better in the future.
I really didn’t think it was bad enough to be blanked out with dots.
The fact that it was, suggests a much more vulgar title than what l originally had.
Going to just let this die and we’ll see what happens over the coming months.
Way to hard to discuss the Simplest of things at times on forums.
Thanks to the few who actually took the time to listen and at least attempt to grasp what was going on.

Well, the two helmets have similar but different stats, a lot of the cloacks have similar stats as well, though more differentiated at the roles ddo would like us to perform. All of the cloakes seem to have different names.
It could just be that there was a script that picked up the first row on an item list based on the items name (instead of some other unique identifier.)

Changes between Lam & Release or very shortly after release are why I don't jump on farms right away. The only time I buy early is when there are bonus items in the expansion that I want (like extra AP). The content IN the expansion itself is so malleable that no expansion is worth buying early for the content.
It's a pig in a poke. Let it claw it's way out first. Only buy AFTER the cat is out of the bag, nicely documented in the wiki, and then only if you like the cat.

When l saw the wiki changing before my eyes and grasped what most likely was “going on”, l realized l jumped the gun and just needed to back off and wait and see.
Like l said, First time l’ve ever bought new content this early in release so had no clue they are still shuffling things around from on quest to another, thought it was just Bugs and Bad drop rates they generally deal with.
Lesson learned and will be more patient from now on.

catching up here...so am i reading this right that there are 2 helms (one is called Legendary Great Forge Helm, and 1 is called Legendary Shaped Great Forge Helm. It appears that the first helm (Legendary Great Forge Helm) was listed as being in Flocked Together (at least when I downloaded the listing), and now it doesnt have a quest attached.
I dont see a difference in the stats from the first helm (+12 deadly. +15 seeker). is the stat issue/change only on the Shaped version? Also, was the wiki just incorrectly populated for Flocked Together?? (since it is blank now?)
This is one of the items I was planning on trying to get at some point.

I feel like this is a similar issue i had with the legendary stitched great forge cloak vs the great forged cloak, both have very very similar names and slightly diff stats so i thought I had the right cloak the whole time only to discover it indeed was not lol. Mine was from the Hideous to Behold opt chest
