Is shaming DDO on X/Twitter the only way to get a response

I've also heard rumors that Strimtom is taking a break from streaming, or the game ... if this is true it's a larger indicator that SSG is really messing up. He's been one of the biggest advocates for SSG over the years. If that dude has lost hope, it's very telling about the state of this game.
Strimtom said in his own Discord that he's gone back to school and he seems to be focusing on that for right now. People will read into that whatever fits their narrative, I suppose. He did acknowledge the lag recently but added that he hoped Cormyr does well cos he was looking to play on it, so make of that what you will.

Cordovan is getting some much deserved PTO and will be back shortly! In the meantime, we've all been pitching in to help while he's on a break and apologize if feels like a lack of transparency :)
Good for Cordovan, he probably needs the R&R.

I hope he's had an amazing trip because he's coming back to a community PR disaster. Shame on the rest of you for not picking up his slack in a better manner.

You may have pitched in elsewhere, but not here on these forums until today. According to the staff tracker link, between his last posts on the 8th and late today (almost a full week), there have been zero posts on these forums by any SSG employee directly addressing the lag and growing frustrations of the players.

The only posts on these forums by SSG possibly related to the lag were the 2-3 cryptic posts announcing the closures of quests and disabling of hirelings with ZERO explanation as to why. Sure, we can assume it's related to the lag problems, but disabling those things made little to no difference in the perceivable performance in-game so for all we know, those were closed due to something else entirely (exploits, broken rewards, etc.).

If a week's worth of radio silence is your idea of "pitching in and being transparent" when there are multiple threads daily about the lag and atrocious server performance, I'll respectfully disagree.

The worst part is, it would only take maybe 10-15 minutes tops to provide a daily update here even if it's nothing more than, "We're still investigating the cause of the recent issues. We've made some progress but don't have it pinpointed yet." but we haven't even been given that courtesy.

SSG officially confirming the answer to OP.

Its not a rumor. He bounced. My theory is they fired Tonquin and cut off most of their advertising, because someone thought that would give Enad Global 7 a few more dollars in their pocket. I say whoever made that decision needs to be replaced. I am sure a lot of the rabid defenders on here will disagree and defend SSG in the hopes they are on some not naughty list.

Mostly the only way to get a response with an added bonus: they cannot ban/perma-ban your X account.

Can they stop/block you from posting on their channel? I'm not a fan so I don't know.

*This would also go a LONG way to explaining some SSGs decisions (TUMBLE!).

Strimtom is going to University to better himself and start a new career. He said he'll stream a bit but is focusing on his studies now. Streaming DDO pays coppers not plats apparently.
