The Symphony of the Fey event ended. Didn't it? It was over so I dumped a half filled lute along with the others that I did not touch. I was satisfied with my results from the event in spite of running out of time to complete another lute.

Then, (how many days later?) they re-ennabled the event. Oh darn, no. Nuts.

I guess that the answer is that we should never ever throw away any event items
