For the love of God it is only "hoarding" if you keep everything. This game forces you to TR. It forces you to plan for future lives. It often updates old things to make them new. Keeping 10% of the items you find is NOT HOARDING!!! There is just too much stuff period. There is too much BTC stuff. And of the BTA stuff, there is too many gear sets with different parts for different classes. There are too many augments and augment systems. Inventory management is non-existent and, most of all, the legitimate bank space is TOO expensive.

I sure did. The entire community from every facet went RUH ROH. I have been sorting toons out for three weeks as a result. two decade whale, my bank toons have bank toons. Some strategies appear when you face your own hoarding issues directly.

First, amazing opportunity for skilling a crafter up. If someone that kobolds still hate were to coincide a crafting week(end) with new servers opening, this would be even better.

Start feeding your items to your primary toon/TR projects. Only store things you actually need.

If you were abusing the TR cache as a second bank, you were abusing the TR cache as a second bank. You are responsible for your choices.

Tabs are a great thing, if they actually work and upon transfer all stackables in same named tabs stack themselves. "Scrolls" "Potions" etc. I haven't seen any update about tabs being carried, but then, they can't get the kill counts and finished MM cheevos even though the game clearly has the data and can show it to the user - if you can display the data, why cant you extract it?

I have learned things facing the errors in my previous habits. If it isn't light blue or better with perfect synergies, YOU DO NOT BLEEP NEED IT!

To be fair, TR was introduced long after initial game development, I was already playing when TR was introduced, and I hadn't joined til the game went f2p/premium options. So the original management systems designed for a game that had no multiple lives and alts were the option stayed in place, and the shared bank was really small back in the day. In a game that was barely making it due to a complicated history of inter-company fuckups between Atari and turbine including lawsuits nad Turbine was just trying to save their investment. It wasn't perfect.

That being said, they obviously did save the game, and Tr has been a thing for 14 or 15 years, I forget if it was intro'd in 2010 or 2011, I'm 53 now and minor details like that, meh. I'm down with them doing a revamp on storage and loot issues and coming up wtih a better system than we have now. But the current deves weren't here then for the most part, and are in a position most of us have been in in our various jobs, stuck with things people we never met put in place nad it's a giant mess to fix with bosses that doesn't want to green light money to fix it. LOL

It was added in 2009.

I collected potions of invisibility, potions of wonder, +5 thieves tools constantly. Had to get rid of all of those. I woulda put them on the AH but we will all be gone in a few hours anyway.

Respect that there are people who have items and don't want to delete them. You have no reason to judge or advise them to delete items.

Saying that you may have to delete those shiny trinkets isn't judging you. It is stating a simple fact that you can't accept.

And I didn't say that SSG's glitch is your fault. What I'm saying is that you're criticizing those of us who own items and advising us to reduce our inventory. You say you don't criticize. Yes, you have. And so has done other people, in this and other threads.

Stating facts is NOT criticising you.

Relax, I'm not going to post you anymore. I just hope that at least you realize that not everyone plays like you and that you have to respect those who play differently.

Offering suggestions you don't like isn't disrespectful, bro.

You've known bank storage is an issue, and you could have done something YEARS ago to manage your inventory better.

You didn't.

You could have adjusted your playstyle to accommodate the inventory issue, but you didn't do that either, and now you are suffering the consequences of YOUR actions and want to blame .... someone ... for your inventory management woes.

Will your complaining, stomping of feet, and gnashing of teeth change that simple fact?

Maybe, but probably not.

Losing some icon on a screen isn't the end of the world, yet listening to some of you people, it is as close to Armageddon as humanity has ever gotten.

It's a SSG problem. Up until yesterday when they changed the transfer rules, the TR cache system was working just fine for players' needs (or at the least, folks were functioning within the parameters SSG has given us for years). No one is asking other players to fix it as it's not your fault, we're asking SSG to fix the problem they just created; and while we're doing so, a bunch of other players are chiming in blaming us rather than SSG for changing the transfer rules.

This typically wouldn’t be an issue if SSG transferred everything, but because they won’t transfer favor unlocks, it’s a huge problem.

For a char that has no dependencies (fvs, warforged, arti), you can get to 20/30, empty your cache, pack, transfer, unpack on the new server and TR.

However, if you have one of the above, you have to TR on the OLD server or you end up with a locked character. So a new level 1, with NO extra bank or inventory slots.

So now before transferring, you have to unlock coin lords and kundark so that you can empty your cache.

And then re-earn Warforged, FVS, and (much harder) Arti

Either of these (tr cache or favor unlocks) wouldn’t be a problem, but together BOTH cause big issues.

From Tolero in discord: they are adding 6- character bank spots to all characters - so base 80 instead of 20 now.

That should resolve it for anyone as you can easily get coin lord favor tier 1 shortly after a a tr.

To those that want to complain about the 60, I suggest you think about it a bit first - that is very generous.
