So, my advice : clean your room. Feed/sell/destroy the stuff you are never going to use, ever. Most of what you're holding onto is stuff you're never going to use. Ever.

It's just that I didn't want free space, but rather help so I wouldn't have to reincarnate.

At least I'll have to reincarnate fewer characters.

In theory the 60 spaces give you all but 20 favor spaces that you lost during TR, but if the character last tr'd long ago and has full banks, yeah it might not be enough still, but realistically it's on the high end of what I thought they would do.

I hope most can make it work - definitely better than we were at 2 hours ago.

I've always had room to do TR. I'm doing TRs all year long and emptying my caches. My problem is that I have to reincarnate afterward, and here they force me to do many unplanned reincarnations at once. That's what I wanted to avoid. I've never asked for free extra space.

But anyway, I guess this helps a lot of people, including those who have insulted us for having large caches (who will hypocritically take the extra space with hidden joy), even if it doesn't help me. I'm happy for the people who are happy. But I'm very discouraged by the idea of doing so many reincarnations at once. I think I'll take the rest of the day off from DDO.

Yeah I was actually thinking about this when I went out and about earlier this afternoon, and I came to pretty much the same conclusion about an appropriate number as SSG has. +100 would have been too much.

We needed 80 so Generous would have been 100. But 60 is adequate all things considered (with only only tier 1 coin lords required) and I hope most people can make that work just as I will.

We won against the clowns telling us we're "hoarding" (and that misguided Discord mod saying that using the TR cache for it's intended purpose was an "exploit"!!!!????!!!) and that victory is worth more to me now TBH.

I don't know what the cutoff with what Legacy unslotters work with is, but they worked with some of my old stuff

This. I reincarnated a character a week ago in preparation for transfer to reset their favor. I wouldn't have done that had they not said, multiple times, that we didn't need to empty our reincarnation caches.

"result of people hoarding items." This kind of thinking puts the blame on the players not in the game. The fault for the bad inventory system is not from the players and will never be.


If they make a new expansion with 50 new items they should give players extra 50 bank spaces.
Having 10 of these items in my toons in a game that is heavy gear related is not hoarding.

As a triple completionist I have the same char space that I had 18 years ago. But my toon is not capped to level 6. If they want to put thousands of items in DDO they must find a way to let the players collect them like a house. Also an auto-equip system would be a blast.
