You're lucky, I usually had to ransack a few times to get one. I have 6.

I did join that one lfm once called "Get your Jibs", they held the chest till I got in, ran to the end, pulled one, thanked them and dropped. That was good. The other 5 were grinds.

It took me FOUR years to farm a Jibbers, and in that time, I was in a group that pulled five of them. Can you guess who the unlucky SOB was?

What really torqued me off was that four of the five of the other players, were on their alts, while I was running my main. Which was further compounded by the fact that I ran with them daily or raided with them bi-weekly. So rather than need-B4-greed which had long been the golden rule, it suddenly became greed only.

That being said...

Now that I have it, I rarely use it. When often there are either better alternatives, or the situation is such that self-rez'ing would not of made a difference.

Admittedly my grind for Jibs wasn't all that much. I was gone when it came out and most people I played with had them when I came back. So it was their job to Jibs. We still hit the quest a few times each month but I did not put in a lot of effort, so I never complained I didn't have one.

Yeah, seems that I only need that blade on alts.
That said, I did use it recently when a quest went Haywire.

Just a word of warning: If you are running TTT just to run it MAKE SURE AT LEAST 1 PERSON NEEDS A JIBBERS!

I had a run that it turned out all 6 of us had it already and 1 dropped for a person in our group (not me that time). And for clarification I was running it for the saga on R1.

Just do EN twice a day, everyday, for a month. Yes EN. You will have a jibbers in a month. Want it faster? Bring friends. Whether EN or R10 the drop difference is miniscule.

Saving a raid is one but also soloing. It is very rare that 60 seconds is not enough time to find a rez shrine. On a number of occasion while soloing reaper my jibbers been the difference between completing the quest and not.

I have never pulled one. I have had others pass me theres but personally never pulled been playing since 08. I don’t farm either just hit the quest once or twice a TR.

More than that, other people getting it is completely useless. Either you eventually get one or it may as well not exist. When rare becomes something you will never ever have, there is a problem. Rare meaning, it takes longer but you eventually get it, is fine.

have 5 toons i play on main and 2 on alt account. all but 1 has a jibs and i have given away several.

now ask me about the drop rates on the stupid belts in md.....

Not last month, but I returned a couple of years ago and got it. It didn't take me long, but I did shard rerolls on elite. Mind you, I'm a player that never rerolls. I'm against gambling. But it's the one case I felt the reward was equal to the investment.

It's stupid it is so rare. 2 years is an unholy amount of farming.
