Anyone able to shed light on what is killing me in Lamordia? I see around 3K Evil Damage and 'killed by misadventure'.

Any help would be helpful ;p

Misadventure would mean some source other than a named entity. If you know the specific quest or context, it would help narrow things down. As mentioned previously, the Brain in a Jar enemy types have an attack called Greater Chilling Touch that does a big spike of damage if you don't block it, which triggers when the countdown on the debuff associated with the feature crosses the roughly 2-3 second mark. However, without knowing the level/difficulty it's hard to conclusively say that's the reason- if it's happening in heroics, that would be absurdly high damage but could be from a "killbox" area that's supposed to prevent passage by killing the player. But it could be other things- misadventure can also be traps, ambient effects, etc.

Thank you for replies, Legendary R6 The Body Snatchers, Snowfall and Sunlight. I did surmise it was the Brain Jars as they were definitely around along with other mobs. Thanks again

I wish they would have done a visual effect for the brain jar attack so you could notice it more easily in the thick of combat.

Maybe like the spectral swords in Ravenloft that float above you then strike a few seconds later unless you block.

Its hard to shift attention to the debuff section and monitor that in frentic combat.

Indeed. Last week (I think) Cordovan replied positively to a topic about implementing more UI info about buffs/debuffs.

Maybe things like that wont be a problem in the future.

Brains in a jar....stay out the purple circles (with teeth)...and when the green hand swirls around you block.
