Servants of the Overlord ladder bug. You are on server 64 at r1 lx2016 ly248 i2049 cInside ox-221.53 oy246.45 oz-301.37 h299.5. Game timestamp 578516348.410.

I get people like to say this as a shorthand term, but there are currently no ladders in our bug queue, and those that were have been corrected. So, if you do actually run into a ladder bug, please do submit a bug report on it.
Now there's one in the queue. =) Hopefully this will encourage others to start bug reporting the ones they see and we can get them fixed up.

I made of note of this one recently and just got around to officially bug reporting it too; didn't grab any video.

@rabidfox I thought this kind of ladder bug was not exclusive to certain ladders, but rather a more generalized problem. I've had this bug happen on dozens of different ladders during the past year. Are we certain there's a point to keeping track of where it occurs? Are we sure it can't just happen almost anywhere if you jump weird/server hiccups?

i was told it was both.

that it couldnt be predicted but when you found one you could fix that individual location

What about all the rubber banding that happens everywhere. It reminds me of the same problem with ladders. You have to either sidestep or wait a few seconds before you can move forward. I see it more often in wildernesses and MD happens almost at least once a visit there, if not multiple times.

Unless someone from SSG tells me to stop reporting them, I'll keep reporting them. To me, it doesn't matter if it's because the ladder needs be moved 1 pixel out or because the physic engine is having issues; not being able to go up a ladder smoothly is not being able to go up a ladder smoothly. It's up to SSG to communicate what we the issue(s) we're seeing with various ladders are so we as players feel heard with our bug reports and the issues we have in game.

I assume that's how wildernesses are stitched together and a whole other equally annoying issue.

feel heard with our bug reports
Regarding this, I know for a fact that during the past 12 months or so quite a few of the bugs you reported were fixed (although almost all of the bugs I've seen fixed since last year were bugs reported on the forums). But personally, I've officially reported ~300 bugs in the past 12 months, and they have fixed *maybe* 10 of them. And now with Tonquin gone, I don't see how you can still have faith in the Bug Report system.

I so rarely get the ladder bug these days.

I jump onto every up ladder and never interact with the first few rungs.

It would be nice if the ladders worked correctly, but it has been like this for so long that I only jump on them now. I have noticed that I sometimes do not jump high enough and have to back off and jump again.
