Lag ate the quest ending.

did a THTH over the weekend, opened the end chest and there was absolutely nothing for me, no loot, no gems, no runes, no threads, no renown. Just a big greyed out list of other peoples loot.

Did full lap of MD and Feywild yesterday. Had a few lag instances but appears that the lag is also affecting monsters so nothing happened like it was hung but finally moved again. Does seem to be getting worse as weekend progressed but still managed to complete and get the loots. 47 reaper fragments from a single lap of Feywild :). I did not keep track of the MD but got everything but an enduring aug. Red wizards will give it up in time.....

I could barely move in the harbor for several minutes Sunday morning. 250 people on. I eventually rubber-banded my way on to the guild ship and logged off.

Nerfing players won’t help. Fix the database.

We are not experiencing any issues with lag it is just the effect of Wild Magic impacting the DDO multiverse.

I see what you did there
Someone in another thread posted about their experience with breakables & increasing lag. Aside from the minor hang here & there, I had no issues playing this weekend until I ran Age of Rage and got to the room with all the breakables. There are plenty of high-density encounters in this quest, but none of them were glitchy until I hit that room & some crates were broken during the initial combat.

Even after killing the mobs, just moving around the room to complete the 'Sate your anger' optional was painful. Long delays between my action and the crates/bookshelves actually breaking, being frozen in place, disconnect between the sound effects and on-screen actions, etc. I tried experimenting with how I was breaking things, swinging a weapon for some groups, using an AoE on others, but I couldn't tell a difference other than breaking groups seemed to be worse than breaking a single item. No other lag issues during the entire quest.

This experience may or may not be anecdotal, but it doesn't inspire me to run quests with a lot of breakables. If anyone has run something like Smash and Burn recently, I'd be curious to know if they saw anything similar.

Would be nice if there were in game Game Masters that could help.
Back when we had them it would take the 24h to respond, and they would send you a message saying you were not online, it's your fault you didn't wait and then close the ticket.

Paying someone to do that was another stupid waste of money for the company, so I'm glad they got rid of the in game support.
