I understand the fact this is a "filler" pack on our way to the level 40 cap and we need more legendary quest but the loot desing in the past few update been really lazy. Most of the new lategame gear doesnt make any difference for non-minmaxing people, maybe 1d6 more on-hit effect damage, maybe 10 more spell power or 5 more quality spell power bonus. And on heroic? +1 quality bonus to hit? Quality resistance "+0"? Its just sad. The rare items are somewhat nice in Myth Drannor but we haven't seen any interesting item in the past... Can't tell how many year. We had interesting weapons and sets back then, like the Sunken kama sets in Sharn, the paladin level based weapons, the monk philosophy weapons, we had weapons like the epic Midnight Greetings, the Clever Strike was a fun little addition to the weapon, or lets just talk about Chimera's Fang's dragonmark based bonus or the Jidz-Tetka's stance bonus. Cant even compare them to the new weapons. FoM might be a bad example since it has somewhat unique weapons, but seven of them got the same Cursed Maelstorm debuff... I got it, its a theme ability in that raid, but still. I know it's just a filler pack without anything meaningful new loot desing and i know my post wont change the world and i also know its hard to desing unique items but still, its been years since i was reacting to the next updates loot like "WOW, amazing, i need this!". Every new loot table only offers a few percent increase in power, nothing new, nothing unique, nothing brave like the "One with the Swarm" or the old Tower of Despair class based loot. And without any exiting, interesting feature, its nothing but a good roll on a random loot table with fancy name and a set bonus.
