This is needlessly harsh - quite a bit of input was taken and listened to for the Threats raid for example - so there is a modern precedent for appealing loot that was made at least in part with the help of the playerbase. If you go back to last years posts on lama, quite a few of the initial items proposed for MD / Threats / "What would you like to see" were in fact sourced from player input.
That would be the "They used to listen" part of my post. Now they don't.

Edit: Actually they didn't listen to most of the requests for the caster items even then. When they posted the "What would you like to see?" thread I thought to myself "why bother? They ignored all my previous requests."

Low Level Gear:

The Hands of Waste are really nice, not just from stats but the fact it's not a ring or weapon slot which are highly contested. On a GOO Warlock, Acid Alchemist or as a secondary element for Sorcerer, I'd pair the gloves with Feywild and Ravenloft caster weapons up until the ML12 caster sticks from Lordsmarch. Having a Moon aug slot is icing on the cake.

Piece of Shattered Horn: The Sun augment is the only redeeming aspect of this item. At the very minimum, Deathblock needs to change to Lifesealed and the Proof against Disease/Poison need to get melded into one effect or "upgraded" similar to the way Deathblock is upgraded Lifesealed. (This also applies to the Proof against Disease on Sewer Sight.). If I need Deathblock, I'll use the Cloak of Winter (Feywild) which is the gold standard of excellent itemization. As a trinket, this is competing against Pale Lavender Ioun Stone (any build) or Vibrant Purple Ioun Stone (casters). It's just not a contender as-is.

Icon of the High Tide: Same issues as Piece of Shattered Horn in terms of competing trinket items. If I need low-level cold resist, Cloak of Winter remains superior.

Storm Signet: Quality Magnetism is awesome for the early levels. However, at least on non-hardcore servers, this item has limited lifespan until you can wear Spinneret (ML8) with 9 quality potency and more importantly 1 quality spell focus.

Bugkickers: Awesome. I'd use this on any melee or ranged build because there aren't alot of revelent boot options. The other Deadly items around this level clash with other optimal choices (Crown of Summer, Cloak of Winter, Cold Iron Bracers).

Frozen Fish Stick + Fried Fish Stick: Seems odd to mix and match Impulse with Combustion/Glaciation on the same item. Is the Insightful Impulse and Quality Impulse intended to be paired with the Fish Stick?

Then why was the raid and caster items so bad?
This has more to do with general problems with caster itemization from the dev team. I can't recall any of the caster gear being super appealing since IoD. I think they simply have a better grasp on melee/ranged than casters and are more open to those suggestions for whatever reason.

The Raid Kukri and Falchion for example are examples of something players wanted, requested and got. I'm not saying it's all sunshine and rainbows and players get to use the devs as their own private item editors. There's a lot to improve for sure, but I think saying they used to listen but now they don't when the very previous items had player input influence them is a bit harsh that's all. I'm not saying they're doing it maliciously. If SSG is anything like the company I work for, they don't have the resource to see things through. But a "caster" crossbow / greatsword / greataxe, I mean, come on! Those weapons actually had good attributes on them and would have fit my gearset perfectly on some of my casters if they were just one-handed but being two-handed made them useless to me. I don't want anything at all from the raid and I have 8 toons.

I know lore usually doesn't matter on items, but please remove the nullification from the Mielikki item. It makes no sense at all, and is totally against the entire lore of the god.

Small quote from the FR wiki about her for instance:
"Mielikki could cast spells from any school of magic bar those of necromancy and illusion and from any sphere bar the reversed, harmful forms of spells in the healing sphere and necromantic sphere.[9] She was herself immune to necromancy spells and reversed, harmful forms of healing and necromantic sphere spells, and her very touch destroyed undead."

She did not use poison either, and was known to try to keep those alive and not let the cycle of death take them even as a "nature" god. There are plenty of other nature gods that are more aligned with the life and death cycles in the Forgotten Realms, and while negative energy is generally not part of those, poison is at least is. Maybe go with Silvanus or even some of the crueler nature gods like Malar.
Maybe they can rename it to reference kiputytto too.

Why are the fish sticks not a set bonus of some sort, like the fish from Cooks?

Who cares if the heroic version is a weak set, it's still something interesting.

Most of this gear honestly looks like someone was pulling a 1-arm bandit of loot options and stopped after a few pulls and said "that looks good" -- there's very little cohesion to the items or common threads, except a couple pieces like the gloves. If an item has 4 effects, make at least THREE of them go together in a logical way, not in the "hey, if someone plays a drow ek/alchemist/club build, this would be amazing"

replace wisdom with bone paws
replace mrr with insightful or quality mrr
(this is to make it competitive with the MD druid bracer)
I think changing the wisdom to Stone Paws (https://ddowiki.com/page/Stone_Paws) could be another option, this would make this item more defense focused while the MD bracers could be more offensive focus. Though Stone paws might need a little change as the DR/15 is not amazing, could change that to be a bonus to prr/mrr/ac, and then could change the +2(W) back to a +1 to be on par with bone paws.

Meaning the new Stone paws effect would be:
In animal form, gain +1[W] and a +1 primal bonus to PRR/MRR/AC per wilderness lore feat . (only one of the PRR/MRR/AC)

I think this would be a great alternative to bone paws.

This preview includes a look at the treasure for upcoming quests. NOTE: Some treasure for quests that have not been previewed yet is visible early; it's okay to provide feedback on the items themselves even though their associated dungeons are not a part of this week's preview. Use this thread for feedback on the new treasure in preview 1!
Why for the love of god items lvl 27... We got feywild and Sharn on 29...

Why not lvl 23 or 24 where there is no good loot ?
