Wait a minute, this extra ability boost requires Precise Shot stance, anti-requisite with Power Attack. Scratch that, Precision is anti-requisite.

Gandalf is high fantasy.

So are D&D and DDO.

FMU's are a staple of D&D and to make them work you need to have the ability to concentrate on 3 stats at the most. Int, Con and either Dex or Cha. Rogues have the same dilemma.

The thing to realize about Int to melee is that it is not OP in most builds that use it. If it is OP in a given build at end game then find some other way to deal with that issue because it is not OP in most builds that use it. It's much more of a generalist feature that allows for melee and casting, neither at high levels.

I don't think its OP, just immersion breaking when smart folk choose melee.

Well, that's your immersion it is breaking. It fully contributes to mine.

The simple solution is not to play Int builds. They're not OP and they won't be in your face in groups the way some other builds will.

NHB has been neutered to a Haste boost with a shorter duration than other Haste boosts. Can you remove the wind-up now, please? The reason we were given for adding that wind-up was that NHB was better than other action boosts.

And many xbow shots continue to get lost in the aether, so at least remove the wind up.

The update of Cannith Crafting is on their radar. Currently the people who would handle it are busy with Cormyr and fixing issues. Also, it was mentioned in a recent Fridays at Four that the person that had been the expert in Cannith Crafting had moved onto another company.
yeah thats why i said if q3 with the expansion might be good :S

Make the GXB's have 3x the mods of Crossbows so they hit like trucks
]

They do need something, that is for sure. Maybe not 3 x but add 1W or 2W across the board. The extended Crit range is nice, but it doesnt matter if someone holding 2 x heavy xbows with a rune arm has only a slightly worse crit range but crits hit harder and WAY more often overall.

I've been playing PnP RPG for over 30 years. A wide variety of role-playing systems. Guess which attribute was always the highest for my characters, including melee fighters?
Right, INT. Because depending on the role system, this is not only more talent points for distribution, but also knowledge of tactics and strategy, and high initiative, and much more... And no, it's not break immersion at all. 8)

You have to be smart to survive melee combat for long. :)

Tested the Inquisitive changes on Lamannia tonight, however I cannot compare live to lamannia right now because I just TR'd.

NHB has been tuned back so much that it is getting pretty close to a wash if you use NHB or Haste Boost from Vistani. I am still killing the boss kobold faster with NHB but the wind-up animation and the 18 sec up-time vs. 20 sec on Haste boost puts haste boost in a pretty similar position. It is hard to test perfectly because of the randomness of doubleshots.

Could we finally remove the windup animation from NHB? Please?
These changes don't touch repeaters, I would imagine everyone will switch to repeaters after this change? They also have very high DPS.

And you really think there isn't going to be fallout from the potential transfers during the end of Q2/beginning of Q3?

The timing is going to be tough for SSG. I think I would probably sell the x-pac before I opened up transfers. This would prevent PO'd customers from boycotting the x-pac because of unresolved issues from the transfers and there will be a lot of unresolved issues is my guess.

I'd also outsource support for a month before the transfers so the CSR's could get a feel for the problems players experience before they are dealing with hundreds of issues a week after the transfers. You'd only need the outsource for a few months as long as the problems resolved were well documented for SSG's regular CSR people to manage once the outsource was gone.

Combat EXPERTISE has always required at least a decent level of intelligence.
Given that it unlocks one of the most useful tactical feats (Improved Trip), smart warriors were always a thing.
Warriors that prioritize Intelligence above other stats, less so, but there's always been an incentive for fighters to be smart.

The original start of the exchange that led to your response was:
When will we have lv33/34 CC shard? If we are thinking lv34 shard are too strong when all the named loot are still lv33, can we have lv34 CC shard release together with the expansion?
But to answer Br4d: From what I understand, it is separate teams. You have the team making the expansion currently, the team making adjustments to 64-bit servers & bug fixing. I am unsure exactly where the people working on the new transfer system are working. There does seem to be many moving parts.
Tolero also mentioned that there are a few projects that did not make it into the Producer's Letter since they were unsure if there would be time to work on them.
