Sadly, people experiencing this issue are unlikely to be able to preview Lamannia tonight. We'll be looking at the issue in the morning. You have to get to the market (crash) to get to the Dojo to get to the new content portal, yes? I can transfer a character and show up wherever I was on previous server, and that works fine, but teleport to Market to go to Dojo and continual crash from there.
You can try sending tells to folks in the dojo and have one of them use a bracelet of friends to bring you there (from some place you aren't crashing in like the hall of heroes); but you may still crash regardless. You have to get to the market (crash) to get to the Dojo to get to the new content portal, yes? just curious, think we might get an extra day of lamannia?Sadly, people experiencing this issue are unlikely to be able to preview Lamannia tonight. We'll be looking at the issue in the morning.
IThe crashing only impacts on nVidia card users this times Lam. AMD users are crash free (beyond the usual crashes).
new stuff or older stuff?i char copied kil, he was on IOD. scroll TP to marketplace, go into dojo, game crashed.
gave it 5 mins, logged back in, was in dojo. rann safehold just fine.
so its the loading screen gets you there but drops you problem. just this time with game crash.
just read jing, i am on amd.
That's not entirely true. I'm currently running the game on a very old machine with integrated AMD cpu+gpu and right after creating a character and using Teleport to marketplace the screen went fully black (I was still hearing the sfx and music in the background) and after a few seconds I got a BSOD with a fault inside amd gfx driver. After reboot and redo it repeated in exactly the same way. Then I remembered that I was running in an unplayable ultra-high gfx settings just to make a few screenshots, and restored my normal .ini file with most bells and whistles disabled and I was able to login just fine. So again it must be some settings that cause it. Not too keen to experiment as it's causing reboots and not just crash to desktop here. The crashing only impacts on nVidia card users this times Lam. Confirmed. I just restored fully maxed ini file, changed PerPixelLightingAttenuation line to False and was able to login to marketplace without problems. If you're still having issues also on AMD, disabling the same option (Per Pixel Lighting) should let you stay stable in this version of Lam, other settings don't need to be modified. Whatever the graphical team did, they did something funky and it's gone more widespread than just one or two particular issues than from before.
