It's solely to reduce the chance of getting hit. Trash tank jumps to mitigate the mobs chasing and DPS jumps to help avoid stray spells or projectiles. I was jumping as the stalker tank for the same reasons, and partially out of habit. I jump while waiting for a raid to start...
Yep, side to side movement and jumping are a standard technique to mitigate damage and is part of game pay, if you not doing it now, get started.

Strimtom builds are nice for basic questing, and in my experience are solid up to low reaper, where I am most comfortable.

I like seeing more advanced builds. I'm starting to raid with the guild and I'd LOVE to be able to survive more than a single hit, so I'd like to see where to get more PRR/MRR while not tanking my DPS.

Yes, I know it will take work, past lives and raid gear/filigree. My brain has never been able to wrap itself around putting all that together, so seeing it laid out helps me figure out what I need to do/get to make a build raid capable.

My previous post was probably a bit more snarky than it needed to be, my bad.

Ying, you talking about this: https://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Audion,_the_Shattering_Way

Nah. I was on and off it in a week. Repeater more damage, but no monk stuck. ;)
repeater most defiantly highest burst dps, monk deliver a flatter dps curve with less spikes but a more sustained damage with 50% uptime on 10k not reliant on action boosts. Monks rarely need a shrine in r10's. Hence why i was surprised to see throwers in the completion, as I had thought that the burst repeater dps was needed for the heads on r10. The other difference is mobility. As being dead drops dps to zero, Monks time and time again allow (me) to stay alive with abundant step, whether it creating distance, finding safes spots etc. The repeater on the other hand lacking that mobility is a more stand and deliver style hoping to blast everything in front of it into the next world (which does).

This, its why i only give people builds upon request. Most people want casual friendly builds that will perform with 0 gearing or pastlives. Strimtom builds are great for that. The moment someone finds out: Oh i need 5 raid items, and some of them require lammordia crafting. They stop being interested...or say: It's not worth the trouble. Therefore I have concluded that its absolutely pointless to post good builds.
Just depends on the player and what they want to get out of the game. Alot of players farm hard to find the gear m3/reaper to push a build to its most extreme end. Personally, I am never satisfied with vanilla gear and will always hunt for the extra stats. A M3 ring with repear +5 RP plus a decent curse x 2 rings can add alot of DPS for example.

You want people to stop playing Shuri throwers? Publish the build so a filthy casual (like, umm myself) can build one and prove just how overpowered it is!

Note: requiring massive amounts of raid gear, weapon swaps and multiple completed sent weapons will severely reduce my (and most other filthy casual) performance.
no point. people will be handed keys to a literal ferrari, but will insist on making changes or cant drive it cause of not willing to put in the work
=(

they are trolling with the jumping
? No one is trolling with the jumping. My response was honest.

I heard lava divers don't leave the chair even to pee. so how is this clean?
Whoever told you this is grossly ill informed at best and likely a flat out liar. We supply company raid buckets under our reasonable accommodations policy by request, leaving all chairs perfectly clean.

What is our policy for exchanges or upgrades? Think its time for a new one...
Please submit your request in writing to Sardonic. Must include a doctors note explaining the need for an upgraded raid bucket. Once received, SSG headquarters recycles old raid buckets.
