Hi - sorry but post update did this thing actually make it out of Lammania and which quest and chest does it drop in if so?

The quest DDO wiki isn't confirming it as yet - correct me if I am wrong please.

Can anyone reliably confirm?

Edit: Asked and answered with thanks to Ogridium and Cordovan for clarification. Item not currently in game.

***Edit 2: The Ring is NOT in the game update released on13/05/26 - do not farm for it yet. Cordovan has confirmed (with thanks) it will be in Update 80.***

It doesn't drop yet. Per Cordo on discord, just now,

Cordovan: "Sweet I have great news for you, the Argonessian Eye Band is unintentionally missing from the reward list, but will be returning in a future game update, probably next assuming the work for it ends up in the final build."

I was going to post the above here, but I see that's been done. Yes, this item is intended to drop but for some reason didn't make it into the update we did this week. It'll return in a future game update, next assuming it makes it through the build and deployment process.

“Unintentionally” and “for some reason” - aka we’re still seeing mad AS rerolls on that chest and didn’t want to ruin a good thing (for us).

I bet SSG would have done an emergency hotfix or even disabled that whole quest if it was dropping 100% of the time.

Amazing! I had very limited time to play yesterday but the couple hours I had it devoted to ransacking that chest looking for the ring. So 3 hours of my life, plus 24 chest rerolls worth of shards... so much fun!

Good news: when it’s in the game next week, you’ll be off ransack timer. So you can spend another 24 chest rerolls to try and get it.

it really disconcerts me why people still reroll chests having so many issues with loot and bugged new content lately (at least give them 1 or 2 weeks to know if it works ok before spending)

Real talk- does this not appear to be an issue? It’s already bad enough implementing “rare loot”, then monetizing it with rerolls and ransack resets.. but now we have rare loot that doesn’t even make it into the loot table.

Where is the accountability other than an “oops” statement. The silly people who ransacked with max rerolls are just SOL, huh Cordo?

No way. The ONE notable item from the pack...doesn't drop? Do you guys do any quality control at all? Do you ever get embarrassed enough about these constant failures to think about improving? Any other company would have cleared house by now. This type of thing is constant, the fact that no one is surprised is quite telling. Still waiting on shattered device rares to drop at a reasonable rate, and myth drannor slayers to notice I'm not in Lamordia.

At what point...does this become a scam? Scam is a strong word with a lot of weight...but I think in this case it's hard to say it's not.

I love this game but you guys are running it into the ground.

Considering the drop rates? They could raffle a dozen rings per server and get the same result.
