Log In Instability: Thursday, January 15th

Having log in issues again, getting errors when trying to log in, and half the time it says my password is wrong when it's not and accepts it after a few attempts.

I just got the same error message three times in a row as well.

Same :( Double and Triple checked my pw and got the same message. Can't log in, and my pw is totally fine.

I see posts about login issues on LOTRO's discord too. So whatever is happening with DDO is effecting that game also.

same was online fine then had to go get perp done for 6 crowns come back to log in and relax and get errored i know PW is fine

Seems like a logical explanation, I don't see another.

This is on login to the launcher, can't reach server select. Server pop limits would result in a queue, not saying I put in wrong credentials.

As of right now, we can't log in. Why can't this be fixed? This is the 3rd time, that I know of, that's it's been down in the last week. I keep getting the error message: "The username and/or password provided is incorrect. Please try again. Username and password are case sensitive." Yes, I know this. I've tried everything that I know. I was last logged in a little over 3 hours ago.

I can't even log in to my account. I get a gateway 504 message. It seems to me that there have been a lot of problems with the new 64b servers.

I cannot login as of 9:25 pm, neither can 2 of my static group mates. Something is not fixed again.

the 64s have a fraction of what the 32's had on them even in the 32's prime and if we were to understand right the 64's have much more capability and could handle server loads even with the new player pushes near each new year. this is seeming like a network issue server side somewhere in the com line for launcher and credentials check maybe a default error from timing out in com attempts to the validating server though i have only every basic and mostly dated networking understanding

I don't think the problem with the login has anything to do with volume of people an any one server. If that were the case the most populated server would jave a higher level of down time (for logins). Looking at the ddo status page all the servers are going down at the same time. I would guess there is a pre connection server/site that directs all the login calls to a specific server. Only issue I see here is why is DDO being so tight lipped over this?

I blame the Tabaxis and Trailblazers, they hacked the Dhampir and Dark Bargainer store sales and now are doing this at the headquarters.

Ditto. Log-in issues definitely not resolved.

A word of advice, from a security standpoint... DON'T try logging in until you hear more about what's going on, or at least that it's fixed.
