Nothing wrong with the players, but with this very short delay that does not plague the other servers.

Shouldn't happen if you are VIP or premium.

My free account alts get kicked after a few minutes. Thought this was normal, but I have never used alts on any server other than WF, so perhaps it isn't normal?

Yes, f2p accounts get disconnected after 10 minutes or less. You know, to encourage you to pay... Wiki states 30 mins but I am pretty sure it is much less than that.
