It's not terrible at all, but it would be less dps (it's still a lot more dps than most pug builds). That said, there's nothing wrong with playing what you like. if you prefer the hand axe chains, go for it, most people wont notice the dps difference and handaxe has bigger crit which is fun. If you feel like you need the guaranteed cc from roar, it's probably a better split for you as well.

I am just more curious; it's interesting to me. I would not have thought the barb build would be higher.

I ran the rogue dominant split as I mentioned earlier a few lives ago and like others said it is lower DPS. I think it was about 80 seconds on r1 giant comparing to the 35-50s numbers quoted above. I don’t have super optimized gear but it’s pretty close. Undying Handaxe + Golden Age buckler for guard breaking. I’m missing curses for +2 str and +6 on boost on light armor set(I have +6 str on heavy armor). I have most of the rare filigrees and reaper stats helm + mp on one ring.

I’m doing the 20 Barb SDK build after I finish this dark bargainer life just to park at cap for awhile for fun, while I update some alts. I just hate running a life for no gain, but I’ve finished all relevant martial lives. Will farm up optimized gear for the caster triple completionist lives after. Will be a lot of 1-20 caster zerging 😛

And as much as I like bears, if you are going for the DL roar I think there are far better DL builds (SDK comes to mind) for your stated purposes.
There are definitely other builds that out-DPS it, but there are survivability factors to consider, and, well, you're a bear, which is awesome. Obviously.
I'm currently torn between DL and barb, I think barb may win out because it's more fun.
Barb is certainly more trolly.

@Lominal do you know the values you see for double shot, ranged power and number of imbues for the FVS/ART inquis build, outside of reaper?

was a couple months since I played them gear had substantial boosts and was slightly different from what I posted but:
140% DS
21 imbue dice
387 RP standing outside reaper

Instead of posting lots of builds here, I have compiled them into a single location.

This file will feature many builds well suited for r10 and raiding focused players, whether you are experienced uber completionist or just getting into that play style. I will be offering suggestions on how to make the builds work well on lower life toons. Any mistakes or criticism are welcome to be pointed out, I tired to pre-read it but I can always miss things. Feel free to use This thread to discuss any of the builds.

I'll try to keep the builds as up to date as I can and will probably add builds in the near future

For the FvS INQ - why cha rather than wis? It seems wisdom would add saves too and its unclear to me what cha adds that wis does not.

I am obviously missing something here :)

Cha gearing is a ton easier than wis (SSG seems to forget dps wisdom build exist often). Raid filis for Cha better support dps on top of that (2 pc reverb + sanc fervor)

SSG certainly tends to forget that many of the game's options exist. And in addition to what you mentioned, charisma synergizes well with abilities like Diplomatic immunity, which is a nice little bonus.

And Intimidate, which I obsessively take on every character :D

It's useful far more often than I think it should be lol.

A few questions on Inquisitive builds.
How much more DPS does stay loud give over stay good? Am I right in thinking the boost is only when resonance procs? Does not seem worth it over the 25% blindness proc of stay good.

Which class split is currently best? I am mostly going through racial lives but try to spend the weekends at cap for raiding and reaping so I would like whichever build is most versatile in both areas, but probably favouring heroic levelling a little.
I am pretty well geared for either CHA or INT main stat.

Side question - Is Undying heavy crossbow still top tier without sealed in fire upgrade? I also have normal dino bone. I could buy an attuned dino bone, but would prefer to save the runes.

Best dps is probably 14 pal, 4 arti, 2 dl Eladrin. More dps, more AoE, better saves and more action boots.
Best utility is probably 17 fvs, 3 arti Eladrin. Wings!!, heals, buffs (inflame) and deflect arrow.

Neither plays well with iconics, sadly, even disregarding the race.

For the FvS Inquis build, how does Acrida, the Caustic Arbalest stand ? I have one laying around, also an Attuned bone, but no Undying crossbow yet. Also, can someone share their thoughts between Light vs Great crossbow on an Inquis build? Sorry if it's a dumb question, couldn't find much info and it's my first time playing an Inquis. Loving it so far though ;)

Acrida is a greatxbow, so its not inqiusitive, and doesnt work at all with the split.

Hard to give exact numbers, but the stay loud procs are around 5-10% of dps? so loud would be around 2-4% less.

Seconding the 14 pally /4 Arti/ 2 DH split (2 rogue also works, but I prefer the favored enemy)

Interesting. I thought the speed advantage of the light xbow was nullified by the speed cap at cap. How come light are now better?

I'd like to say that dinobone has an advantage for lowman/group play if you play with a static in that you can run ooze on your weapon permanently without spawning oozes, which is a definite perk over Undying Age; further; you won't have excessive overlapping of dripping magmas when everyone is running undying age with dust on it.

If thinking of things in terms of vacuum and soloist perspective or when you wanna be absolute minmaxed individually, undying age weapons are pretty damn hard to beat.
