Looking for flat out fastest character in DDO

I've been thinking of doing a Monk rogue build with a splash from the falconry tree to grab up every possible movement speed boost to couple with the monks free movement speed boost. Maybe 18/2 split tabaxi trailblazer with qstaff?

Is this even viable? Is there better options or something similar I haven't found while searching forums?

I've tried building something in Maetrims builder but I know nothing about staff feats or if I should go wisdom or dex, etc.

You can get to 177% speed with an all-tricks Rogue 13/Dragonlord 6/Barbarian 1 once you incorporate Serenity in Grand Master of Flowers. That's not the fastest but it might be the fastest all around toon for challenges involving traps/locks/hidden things. The advantage of this split over a Monk 18/Rogue 2 is the skill pts. You can basically max everything relevant with a +8 tome and 13 Rogue levels.

Monk 18 / druid 2 in wolf form gives +45% run speed if everything stacks. You wouldn't fight as a wolf, you just use it to get between fights faster.

To that you can add Sprint Boost, Feline Agility, or PDK Rallying Cry.

Shadow Walk gives a little more run speed than Haste, though it expires as soon as you attack.

I made some iconic mules in the past that were 12 monk (abundant step adds so much, though not technically speed), 1 barbarian (for 10% speed), and 2 druid (for wolf). Unfortunately, as mules, they don't really need to go anywhere lol.

My fastest, real life, was a tabaxi monk stickfighter though. Spring attack gives 18 sec of sprint boost, with a 20 sec CD. Couple that with abundant step and monk speed and I fleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew ahead, leaving my party miles behind heh.

DL technically gets a speed boost after using wings, but it seems like it doesn't actually trigger 90% of the time, so bleh. Same with DDM.

yep, 18 monk / 2 druid wolf should be the fastest passive, but cannot use abundant step (iirc) in animal shape so active speed is lower

I'm sure we'd all like to know how you combined monk with barbarian.

Fair point, although spamming Abundant Step every 3 seconds would get annoying. And since it uses ki, it's not a permanent buff the way wolf form would be.

It definitely is more annoying, but you can keep doing it forever once you have the Ki restoring abilities. (not an early or mid game thing)

Not all attacks break shadow walk!

If you were going to melee in wolf form? Yes, you'd want druid 3 for Natural Fighting feats. But the form is unlocked at druid 2.

Some days you wanna minmax your DPS and some days you wanna minmax your zerging. It could go either way!

Besides, monk 18 / druid 2 with 41 Vistani / 31 Henshin (or Dragon Disciple) / 8-10 Shintao as SWF build isn't the worst idea, with the added bonus of WOLF MODE RUN BOOOOST
