Main "Races" page - why use abbreviated names?

In the "Races" portal (as can be seen at the top of this page for example), why are abbreviations used in place of the full names of certain races, right below the race's icon?

I propose that all races should have their full name displayed, namely changing:

H-elf -> Half-Elf
H-orc -> Half-Orc
W-Elf -> Wood Elf
S-kai -> Shadar-kai

Generally speaking, we do this when the full name of a race would be too long to fit on the template. That wasn't really the case for these four names, and I'm not clear why we abbreviated them, but a recent update to the template by another user has fixed the issue (although we have had to keep PDK in place of Purple Dragon Knight, among a couple of others.)

The second page automatically copies the first page, along with another template that handles classes, onto other pages. The change might not be immediately visible to you as your browser may have automatically loaded an out-of-date version from your cache - try using the "Refresh" option under the drop-down menu called "More" in the top right-hand corner of the page.

The same user that fixed the template the first time round appears to have beaten me to it, but yep, that template should be good to go.
