Massive ping increase

on khyber i have 120ms average ping but on cormyr my ping is stable on 177ms.
I play from EU, are these servers supposed to be even further away or what is the deal with this ping increase?

The Cormyr data center is in Vegas and not the same location as the other servers; so an extra 50ms is about right.

The difference is much larger for me. Just checked (from NZ):
Cormyr Ping 172ms
Wayfinder PIng 280ms

Best change in DDO ever.

Alright, so it is just the phyiscal location of the servers, seems that some people get very good gains from it.
