Hey All
Not being a raider entirely possible I've missed this mechanic , but my Monk Thrower just fought Zarazurthu in The Darklake and it seems to have an absolute ton of deflection, is this normal and is there a way around it?
I've run into it before in Myth Drannor, the Vrocks in some quests seem to have it, but it was more of a nuisance than anything.
Zarazurthu just seemed to deflect everything- I had rolls showing "You rolled a 70(+0) You hit but your missile was deflected!" (I also had some showing "you rolled a 62 but your missile was a success!" So I'm guessing it's how close I was to him. But even when standing next to him I had 2-3 deflections for every hit. (I may have also just rolled poorly) (Or possibly have misread something...)
I'm not complaining about the mechanic, I like the ranged toons, but completely agree some if it is a little unfair to melee, just trying to understand how it works.
The wiki says the only source of bypass is eerie aim, also wondering if that's correct, as I have the feat, but it was still showing (+0) in the combat log.
Thanks!
