Monk Archetype: Avenger

Avenger is a 4e class, which hasn't seen a true emergence in 5e (the Paladin Oath of Vengence gets the narrative, but not deep into the mechanics). In DDO, we could get it as a monk archetype: A non-armor based class which is supposed to be in melee. As monks are narratively tied to religions anyway, having them act as a chassis for the hunter and executioner of faith would work greatly.

Proficiency in all martial weapons. Choose a deity at level one, be centered while wielding a favored weapon. Instead of normal stances, you get Censures (Pursuits slows enemies upon hit, Retribution is a damaging guard effect, and and Unity gets Destruction/Fortification lowering) and you don't get elemental punches, only light and dark. Mystic Henshin is replaced with the archetype tree (though I'd also gladly trade Ninja Spy for Knight of the Chalice :p), important is the ability to get more favored weapons.
The tree would use Oath of Emnity as a important mechanic, which would synergize with the Censure-Stances and works similar to the Horizon Walker Mark, though it also grants the Avenger a damage buff similar (but weaker) than sneak attack against the target.
