More armor platings for Warforged?

Might as well revive this suggestion into the new forums as well.

There should be some new armor plating options for warforged. Mainly, a medium armor plating (Scale?) and a non-metal one (Hide/Leather) for druids. Perhaps just one if combining the two.

It would help those few classes that care about medium armor, like Dark Hunter.

Ironwood Plating for WF/BF.

It would be a Medium armor that would be compatible with the Druid oath because it would be made of very strong wood.

Of course, it would also be great for Barbs and any other class that doesn't get Heavy armor proficiency.

BTW, this has been suggested over the years on the DDO Forums more times than I care to count.

Docents suck, PRR and dodge limitations, WF also got screwed over for disease and poison 'immunity' that isn't immunity.

add the WF feat...

Unarmored Body [Warforged Feat]
Your body is crafted without its normal layer of armor, trading off physical strength for magical potential.
Prerequisites: Warforged, 1st level only.
Benefit: You lose the normal +2 armor bonus and light fortification common to warforged characters, but you have no inherent chance of arcane spell failure and can wear armor or magic robes and gain their full effects.

This way forges don't have to get screwed over with docent restrictions and can just wear regular fleshy gear.

Whatever they do to WF body feats, they should make them a racial feat.

The WF body feats should be free at this point.
I don't think DDO could do with Unarmored Body given how Docents work, but a version of it that just makes your body count as clothing for all intents and purposes would be nice.

I DO like that every WF is proficient with whatever their body is, so WF Wizards can just take Adamantium Body and suddenly wear full plate. Makes for very entertaining Eldritch Knights.
