More flying carpet mounts!

I actually suggested flying carpet mounts long ago (in my headcanon, I’m the hero responsible for them being added to the game), but I didn’t pick up the MD ultimate fan bundle.

I’m hoping they can add new flying carpet mounts, not only for variety but for other opportunities to get them!

(I really wanna see my characters able to do a backflip, plus they weirdly just “look” faster than the other mounts, which is cool).

Right now it’s a thin red carpet, I want a thick blue one (yeah yeah - phrasing)

Given the faux-technology of house Cannith and warforges, I am surprised they have not added something mechanical-ish. So instead of a flying carpet you would be on one of those hover
platforms.

The other option that would be hilarious is the introduction of super-slow mounts, like an ambling elephant. Watch a party speed to a quest on their unicorns while you ramble along calmly with a nice view.

Ha that would be cool. I love the idea of the slow-mounts, too. Elephant would be dope.

Not another flying carpet…I want my mount to be a litter or sedan chair carried by the most-killed monsters in my Monster Manuals (or perhaps selectable based on MM unlock once you cross a threshold of kills). Let them carry me through the water (and lava) and I won’t even mind the slowdown. Perhaps there could be rickshaw and stagecoach versions as well. Horse-drawn carriages are for common folk…I want a Hill Giant-drawn carriage!

That might get me to play DDO more than once/week again…

I'd like to see some race specific mounts, rather than a generic scale change for the mounts. Some small things for small races that do not allow large riders, and visa versa

Instant mount/dismount jetpacks. Back in 879 YK they said we'd have jetpacks by now. That aside, anything that was instant mount/dismount would be my vote.

I'd buy a stand alone carpet mount that doesn't back flip every time i hit the space bar - infinite back flips are distracting and makes me dizzy

Would prefer that the servers be sorted out before the Dev's resume dumping useless fluf players don't "need".

I think I suggested that before... could be part of every 3RD PL of a specific race / class. you "mastered" it, so now you get a unique cosmetic to show for it, that matches the style of that class. I think it would fit better to a class then to a race but whatever works.
a few ideas:
3RD Paladin PL: a flying small golden dragon
Fighter: Heavy, armored muscular war horse
Artificer: A Biplane
Druid: Bear
Blightcaster: Plague wolf
etc
