Mount and Pet tabs vanished on all but one character

Preparing to pack, I first did my Guild Leader. It was seamless.

But now all remaining characters have lost their Pet and Mount tabs.
I'm now reluctant to move any other characters until it's fixed.
Can anyone help ?

The first character you pack on the server puts all the mounts and pets in the pack. So you'll get them back on the new server when you unpack your guild leader on the new server

First character packed takes it all (pets, mounts, shards, guild leadership if leader) to its destination server. So that's perfectly normal.

Those things got packed with the first toon you packed. When you unpack, you will get them back.

 

[Suggestion]

If you want a mount on an old server after packing a character (or more) leave one character in the hall of heroes and you can claim a new mount form some of the expansion packs if you have the correct level of that pack.

Thanks - I hadn't realised that. Seems a weird way of doing it though.
Did they mention that in the guide ? I thought I had read it thoroughly.

What about my pets and mounts?​

Your Creature Companion Stable and Mount Stable are packed with your character prior to transfer. They will populate into the Creature Companion Stable and Mount Stable when you run the "/transfer unpack" command on your destination world.

Although that's not entirely clear that only one character gets them all.
But I guess it does explain why the name for one pet is the same name on all characters' pet.
I had assumed that each character had their own pet. Still seems odd that they're not.
