Moveable runarm UI is TERRIBLE

It interferes with nearly everything in the game. It stops you from attacking if your cursor is anywhere near the vicinity, it stops you from interacting with npcs in front of you, it literally blocks you from pulling levers etc. At the very least make it a toggle in the menu, best case remove it altogether.

This is a bigger fail than half the bank UI being literally black empty space.

Yup getting the same here. And when charging runearm ie pushing ALT, its disabling left click on mouse, must push right first then you can attack. Not sure if layover is causing this.

Sounds pretty invasive.

Did anyone see/catch this on Lamm, or does it seem like a new quirk since going live?

100% agree, it's a terrible idea. Who was actually asking for it? If no one, then why waste resources for it!!

People have been asking for a less-obvious Runearm UI for years (or get rid of it and make it instant-cast at "stable" Tier, with a recharge timer).
After all, why isn't the gun already loaded before the fight. However, what we ask for and what we get, are very often several dimensions apart.

The entire reason I treat rune-arms as passive gear and never EVER use them is because of how horrifically bad the UI is. IF a rune-arm did so much DPS that it cleared a room in one-shot, but that's all you could do if you wore one, THEN and only then would the UI make sense. It's built around the idea that that the RA is the most important thing in the game to the player. It's not. It's just extra set bonus and stat lines.

It needs a button so it can live happily next to all the other buttons so your eye can find it when glancing down to check CDs. The overhead needs to be removed (or at least optional and not the default).

I moved the UI into my bottom right corner, above the examination orb. Same curve.
I pointed out earlier that the Runearm Charge UI should be straight now (similar to hotbars), also it needs a Lock/Unlock option in the UI settings section of DDO.
It would be nice to have a few different shape options of the Runearm Charge UI
1: original
2: straight shape like hotbars
3: separately movable runes

Problem is if you move your mouse cursor on the Runearm Charge UI the mouse cursor changes its form, cause the game thinks you wanna drag and drop it to somewhere else. If the mouse cursor has this 4 golden triangles form you cant interact with anything in the game, also mouselook stops working.
So yes, this is a big problem cause it stops you to have controll of your own movement/interactions.
