My dimensional Augment bag has been emptied :(

So, I bought a Dimensional Augment bag and used it to suck up the 4 tabs of augments on one of my characters but also the rare/interesting augments I wanted to be able to share easily with other characters (Paladin has no use for a gen that provides Anthem, main with +4 to each stat has no need of a Globe of Imperial Blood) .

anyway, turns out I must have misread the description in the store because the Dimensional Augment Bag was in fact a bag of Devouring and is now completely empty.

Is there anything that can be done? (its not a search filter, it says 0 items)

Is there a chance you drug your bag onto your shared account storage? Particularly the ingredient tab?

This is hopefully what happened.

While I've lost a few items in Shared Crafting bank over the years, I've never lost anything in a bag that I know of. Let alone an entire bags content. I really hope this is not the case for you.

And if they are in the Shared Crafting bank... yes, getting it all ouit again will likely be annoying. Sorry in advance.

yes. but I didnt empty the contents into the shared account storage. I was using it to access augments on different characters. is this a known issue?

I dont think I would have dragged it into the ingredient tab (that would be rejected wouldnt it? or doe sit just empty the contents into limbo?

edit: the contents of the bag are not in my shared storage. I checked :)

I havn't experienced this personally but I have witnessed a bag's Search field to be in an empty state and the bag displaying no items after doing inv maintenance and searching between bags and such.

The fix for this is to left click in the Search field then hit ESC. Contents will then be displayed.

If you are mouse hovering over a "closed" bag and it reads "0" contents I cannot offer any help :(

mouseover the closed bag reads 0/500 . (I tried the search box test after reading the other threat on someone's collectibles bag).

If you drag the bag over to the Shared Crafting bank, it will empty into it without any further notice. So your stuff might be there.

And just to be completely sure, you checked the "Crafting Storage" tab?

Yikes, sorry to hear that. Hope it gets worked out for you. If not and you are on Khyber now or plan to migrate to Thrane in the future I am happy to share Filigrees with you. I have tons of them, maybe not everything and all rares but I do have a bunch.

It would empty all the non BTC ingredients into your ingredients page in the bank.

yep. I only just bought +250 space in it and stored a load of crafting stuff. (I never knew you could access crafting items from the crafting storage directly from the crafting station, I've been moving them to the storage, then to a bag for use! was that a recent QoL change?) . anyway, zero augments in there.

aaaand I did not know that. I've been moving them one stack at a time from bag to inventory to bank like a pleb ! but no, no BTA or otherwise bound or unbound augments in there. (there were no BTC augments in the bag specifically because I wanted to move it form shared storage to character inventories.

thanks for the offer! I wont take you up on it but it does reinforce that I play the game for the community and not for the lack of bugs :)

This also works if you drag a bag into another bag. You can transfer all the contents. So if you had a 2nd dimensional, or even just a large and there was enough room, you could have accidentally dragged it there, as well.

:O ok, someone with their finger on the buttons was reading this thread.

I decided to test the whole dropping a bag of collectibles into the shared crafting storage to see what would happen (5 strings of prayer beads). they dutifully dropped out of the bag and into the bank.. but I couldn't see them in there so then I noticed that suddenly I had 8 tabs instead of the expected 2. (I definitely did not have more than 2 when I checked the shared storage before responding to the post above from bobbyryan2, I just logged back in to test the bag contents).

mystery solved! (except that there is no way they would have fit in the shared storage before I bought the expanded space and the bag was empty before I bought the space!).

thanks all :) I can now go and start the drag'n'drop game
