My Guild Did Not Unpack After I transferred the Guild Leader

I transferred my guild (It's Just a Flesh Wound) on the first night we were able to transfer to the new 64 Bit servers. The details are listed in my ticket that I submitted 2 1/2 months ago. Still no resolution and I only get feedback if I ask for one. Then I find out nothing has been done.

I am beyond frustrated and since my yearly renewal is coming due I'm almost to the point of not renewing. I have been a VIP since 2009 and I think this is a terrible way to treat a long standing customer/player.

My guild won't unpack so nearly all of my good toons are hung up and cannot be unpacked. Neither can anyone in my guild. I have lost most of them and I cannot do anything about it.

I bought the new expansion and most of my toons cannot fully enjoy it.

I just wanted you to know how close to genuine anger I am. Mistakes and glitches are one thing but no updates or contact is quite another.

And so...we'll see...

It said everything it was supposed to say EXCEPT "Guild Unpacked."
Did what you saw look like this? I only ask because I don't see "Guild Unpacked" in the official instructions (https://www.ddo.com/news/ddo-64-bit-transfer-instructions).

Log your transferred character into your new game world! When you are ready, type "/transfer unpack" into chat from the Lordsmarch and your items and information will populate into your new game world. If you are unpacking a lot, give it time. Once complete, you will see a message in chat. When complete, you will see your items in their relevant destination. You can type "/transfer list" to see whether there are any items that are packed on a character.

I appreciate your help. It's a nice thing to do.

I did everything you said. After I unpacked it showed everything unpacked. It did NOT say Guild Unpacked.

I am really frustrated.
 
OK. Here is what it said:

(Standard): Unpacking data for world transfer ... Please wait until you receive the message "Unpacking complete."
(Standard): "Unpacking complete."

Nothing more.

If you still have a Packed icon even after unpacking use the "/transfer list" command to find out what wasn't unpacked. (For anyone else that is still having trouble.)

That's all it's supposed to say. What issue are you experiencing? Is the packed icon still there? Does your guild information not show up when you open the guild window? Can you not access your airship?
 
I think my other guild said guild unpacked. It unpacked just fine and everything looks and acts like it should.

At any rate, I still have the character packed icon, there is nobody in the guild and it does not show there is a guild, and I cannot enter the airship.

So, since you still have the packed icon use the command /transfer list on that toon and post what it says.

Is there a chance that you switched the guild leadership to one of your other characters, perhaps so you could copy a toon to Lam, and that one of your currently packed toons is actually the guild leader? You can unpack all of your toons before the guild leader unpacks, so I would suggest unpacking everyone and seeing if the guild is attached to one of your other characters.
 
Here is the message when I try to unpack the Guild Leader in the Lordsmarch Bank:

(Standard): Data packed for world transfer:
(Standard): Astral Shards: 0
(Standard): Platinum: 0
(Standard): Guild: No guild data present.
(Standard): Cosmetic Pets: 0
(Standard): Mounts: 0
(Standard): Shared Storage: 0 entries
(Standard): Crafting Storage: 0 entries
(Standard): This character has not been packed for transfer.
(Standard): Character packing has been disabled on this world.
 
I did not have anybody change guilds nor did I change the guild leader.

Here is the message when I tried to unpack a character in the Lordsmarch Bank:

(Standard): Unpacking data for world transfer . . . Please wait until you see the message "Unpacking Complete."
(Error): Failed to find new transferred guild.
(Standard): World transfer unpacking failed with error: Transferred guild not found. The guild leader has not yet unpacked the guild on this world.

The guild leader has not yet unpacked the guild on this world.
That error is saying that the character you're trying to unpack is not the guild leader. When you update your CS ticket, you might want to ask them to identify the guild leader for you. If it turns out that it is that character, then they have a larger issue to figure out.
