...but all the other mystical members are there. Bands are not in that mystical item group?

Are you really that obtuse or are you just trolling here? It's getting harder to tell on these forums when someone is actually looking for an answer or if they're just being a total bellend.

also hard to tell if someone's asking a question, but pounding away anyway, speaking of bellends....
There is a Mystical Bottle; Goblet; Dried Fish; Plant; Vessel; and Urn. I have quantities of, respectively: 5, 2, 3, 4, 2, 4 (members)
Where's the Band? Is that an ingredient that got lost or part of player access SSG deemed too OP?

*And yeah, call me now bellicose based on your baseless bluster. Why the hate over this?

karma's a *****.

SSG has said the mystical bands are not in the game due to the effect likely being too powerful.

It just is what it is.

Actually, initially they said they are in the game we players suck and can't find them.

Then they went radio silent because they realised they know as much about the game as we think they do. It's been a week, two weeks tops that they admited through the community manager than they honestly don't drop. The "too good" is the meta excuse which is more funny than the Joker.

Remember when they said broken music box had to be minimum level 24 because they didn't want it to be too strong?

It's much like the collectables in Ruinous Schemes and many other things in the game. A partially implemented idea that gets abandoned before fully implemented.

I don't think mystical bands or the resulting craftin affix are too powerful. It simply allows crafting of the same affix that exists on random loot - and only for unbound crafting.

The truth is they just don't want to revisit it - which is fine. It seems like the entire business is at a vulnerable spot so they need to focus on turning things around quickly.

You seem to be conflating the word of the entire dev team with something Steelstar once said when asked a question on a livestream with no time to actually go and check anything.

A decision was evidently made somewhere down the line not to include Mystical Bands in the game, or they'd have been added back in at some point in the five months that SSG have known they don't drop (Cordovan actually confirmed Bands were not dropping back in May - check page five.) But I highly doubt this was something the entire dev team would've known about at the time - the Mystical Cannith Crafting recipes were a tiny part of one of the biggest updates in recent DDO history. Everyone except for the few people working on the Cannith Crafting updates would have been way too busy to bother about one largely inconsequential crafting ingredient.

I wonder if they were meant to drop from Foxpaw and his reward list was just never set up properly, which would explain why he gives either a small list of level 1 items or sometimes nothing.

Regardless of the exact devs in charge or responsible for the mistake be that including Mystical Bands on a set of release notes or failing to check that Mystical Bands were indeed on the loot list at the time of the publishing of the release notes or the repeated failure of assuring the player base we just hadn't found them yet, or the failure to add them after discovery or formally explain why they have never been in game and will not ever be in game... it all comes down to lack of polish and continually pushing any issues down the priority list. We get it they have to continually be working on what is next for sale, but it doesn't lessen the frustration of all the rushed, unfinished, incomplete, unpolished, buggy content that does get pushed out repeatedly.

I will chalk it up to Balance and be done. Done with SSG at this point.

Devs answer to higher powers. Severlin set the tone. Actuality confirms 64-bit server(s) are the focus, joke that they are, everything else be damned ... Until the next expansion pack drop for 130USD that introduces EVEN MOAR havoc.

pretty sure the 64-bit server(s) are meant to drain whales of resources/bleed them dry.
